Works perfectly with pFsense, Windows 10, Windows 11 and Ubuntu.
I needed persistent storage for my new dual 10Gbps R86-U3 N6005 pFsense firewall appliance, and also some low-cost performant storage for a Windows 11 install on a GMKTek G3 (Intel-based mini pc). (I actually bought 3x MTS830S the third was to install Linux onto so that I could easily switch the GMKTek G3 between Linux and Windows.)I bought the 128GB Transcend MTS830S 128GB because its physical interface is m.2, which both the R86-U3 and GMKTek hardware support.The BIOS’s detected the Transcend MTS830S without issue, and the pFsense, Windows 11 and Ubuntu installers installed onto them exactly as expected/needed.The pFsense firewall runs 24×7 with no errors.The Windows installs boot up and shut down in a perfectly reliable manner, the same for Ubuntu.Great value for money and solid performance.

El rendimiento del SSD es muy bueno, aunque en las pruebas de rendimiento no cumple completamente con las velocidades especificadas, jala muy bien y la laptop se siente muy rapida, carga todo el sistema en aprox 15 segundos.Instalado en una HP 245 G7 con un Ryzen 3 con slot M.2 sin problemas de compatibilidad, el único detalle serian las altas temperaturas (70°) que luego alcanza cuando hace demasiadas operaciones de I/O, pero probablemente es por la posición que tiene en la laptop.Aunque no es de una marca reconocida, si lo recomendaria, es un upgrade muy necesario y hara que tu laptop vaya y se sienta mucho mas rapida y poderosa.El envio llego rapidamente y sin inconveniente alguno, el paquete perfectamente sellado y el producto en muy buen estado.
Cercavo una SSD compatibile per il mio portatile Asus Vivobook s15 non più recentissimo e fare un upgrade della memoria, non era facile trovare ancora in circolazione delle ssd con interfaccia Sata ma fortunatamente con Transcend ho trovato quello che cercavo. Ho acquistato il modello da 512GB, una volta installato nello slot Sata è molto importante ricordare che il sistema operativo non riconosce immediatamente la nuova memoria, infatti deve essere prima “inizializzata”. Una volta configurata, che si decida di usarla come semplice memoria di archiviazione, oppure (come nel mio caso) per installarci il sistema operativo, svolge perfettamente il suo lavoro offrendo prestazioni eccellenti in lettura e scrittura e dando un ottimo boost sia all’avvio del sistema che all’esecuzione dei programmi installati. Direi che per il prezzo pagato è un’ottima soluzione.
