Simply the Paste
The ARCTIC MX-6 is a carbon filler-based thermal paste and reaches its maximum performance without burn-in, directly after application and distribution. It achieves all of this without any reputed ingredients, such as expensive diamond dust or various precious metal particles. The silicone gel used as a carrier enables optimal distribution, which is achieved through even contact pressure, for example when mounting the heat sink.

With its improved composition, the ARCTIC MX-6 has a measurably lower thermal resistance than the MX-4.
We measured the absolute thermal resistance of both pastes on our lab-testing machine, which is much more accurate than a CPU. Two factors are mainly relevant:

A lower thermal resistance of the paste leads to a lower temperature difference between CPU and cooler.

Easy application
MX-6 is neither electrically conductive nor capacitive. This eliminates the risk of short circuits or discharges, which can cause serious damage to components if care is not taken. The thermal paste is also free of liquid metal components, which can often lead to discoloration, abrasion or corrosion damage to the radiator bottom.
Available in several versions
ARCTIC MX-6 is available in package sizes from 2 to 8 grams. Resealable syringes prevent the paste from drying out and facilitate dispensing. Alternatively, the variants with MX Cleaner are available. These enable simple and residue-free cleaning of the contact surfaces. The cleaner consists of 100% Limonene, a natural substance obtained from citrus essential oil.

Good value thermal paste
Really good thermal paste lowered my cpu temperature while gaming by 8-12 degrees c, is really high quality and keeps the cpu cool and is easy to apply and is very thick so it wont spread to the motherboard when applying.
Bought for £4.09 and used once
Excellent thermal paste. It’s easy to apply, spreads evenly, and provides great cooling performance. I used it on my Ryzen 5 5700x3D, and saw noticeably lower temperatures compared to the old paste I replaced. It’s non-conductive too, which adds peace of mind during application.Great value for the quality – definitely one of the best options for anyone building or maintaining a PC.
Good performance, good price, no problems.
It works fine. Temps are great. It’s good thermal paste. Very thick. Use the old-school pea sized dot in middle, or tiny 3×3 dots across cpu. It’s very thick so don’t try to spread it with a tool.
Easy to use, effective
Easy to use and just the right amount for a few CPU installs.I can’t really compare with others, but my 9800X3D is running at a temperature of about 35C at idle in an ambient 20C room, with the cooling fans silent. Not bad. Small tube is good value for a few installs; this stuff has a shelf life so big tubes get wasted.
Great product which has improved the performance of my PS4
This seems to have made a huge impact to the performance of my PS4. It was overheating massively and sounded like a jet engine. After giving it a massive clean out I cleaned off the old paste and applied a small pea sized amount to the CPU which was more than enough, re-built it and all problems were solved. Only downside is the product, even with this being the smallest size available, is too large for a single use. Hopefully it will last for whenever/ if I need to use it again, but if not it will be wasted.PROS- Seems to make a huge difference to the PS4 operation and overheating.- Very east to apply – just watch some installation videos.CONS- Wish they did some smaller single-use options.
Stay cool, Arctic
I never really bought into the idea that premium thermal pastes outperformed standard/budget ones by much until I used the stock paste from my current heatsink (Thermalright Phantom Spirit 120) and found it to not perform as I would have hoped. I decided to purchase this paste to see if it could improve my performance at all and WOW what a difference it made! ~10 degrees cooler under full load was a major improvement and put me to where I expected to be with the cooling solution I chose.The quality of this paste is excellent – it’s quite wet so bear that in mind when using it. It is easy to apply thanks to the syringe style applicator and was easily removed with an alcohol wipe when I inevitably made a mistake and had to take the CPU + Cooler assembly apart!Overall, I’m really impressed with this product and I love that you can buy it in this smaller amount – most companies will try and sell you a tube with more than you need which leads to waste (I have managed to lose or accidentally throw away multiple big tubes of thermal paste over the years) so the fact you pay less for a tube with around 3 applications worth is really handy and good value for money,I highly recommend this product!

Great paste
I do rate the artic pastes. They come in cheap and are very effective.I compared the mx-6 to the Noctua nt-h2 and they’re around about the same. From my tests the mx-6 has 1-2c degree difference on cr24 runs with my Ryzen 7 9700X + LF3.It’s quite a viscous paste and not meant to be spread, artic do a YouTube video showing how to properly apply. I previously had mx-4 and that lasted a long time so I can’t imagine mx-6 not lasting.2g isn’t that much but would last around 2 possibly 3 applications.
Excellente, incroyable.Je suis passé de 100C à 80C avec le même ARCTIC Liquid Freezer II 360 en utilsant cette pâte (un trait vertical sur le CPU) en faisant tourner le test OCCT. Au lieu de la MX-4.
