Lying About the Price
I like this 4TB drive and am using a lot of them in my NAS, but the price is a lie. £221 is not 15% off, that “discount” appeared today and isn’t accurate. I vought mine when they WERE on sale for £184. I don’t know if they’re scamming people in preperation for Black Friday, but this price is on the high side of average. Again, I like the drive, but not this tactic.
Great storage, great price.
Can’t go wrong with crucial! Anything needed for a laptop they’ve got you covered. I will say the read and write speeds are excellent and the 2TBs of extra storage is a must for gamers now.Overall if you want something that maintains excellent performance and longevity then crucial is the brand for you.Only minor annoyance I had was this didn’t fit my copper heatsink, though it doesn’t seem to get hot anyway.
Fast drive, works fine in an ASUS Zenbook 14″ Laptop
This works fine in an Asus 14″ Zenbook, I used the freeware version of Macrium Reflect to clone the old 512GB drive using an external NVMe reader (The Zenbook only has space for one drive so you can’t clone a second drive onboard unfortunately). If you have BitLocker enabled then you’ll need to be able to unlock the drive to increase the partition size to fill the new 1TB (or larger) drive so make sure you have a copy of your BitLocker key for the old drive (usually stored with your Windows account). Then when you boot Windows with the new cloned drive you can choose to enable BitLocker again in Windows settings (or leave it off for slightly improved performance if security is not a concern)There is a link to downloadable software from Crucial but it didn’t find any firmware updates and I didn’t use the freeware cloning software (Acronis) since I prefer Macrium Reflect.
Free Acronis cloning software included does not clone hidden/Recovery partitions correctly
Not much to say about the item itself as it is from a well respected manufacturer. A key point to note is that if being used to create a clone of an existing SSD drive the free Acronis True Image for Crucial software available for download does not clone hidden or Recovery Partitions correctly in either Automatic or Manual mode. I had to use Macrium Reflect to clone all the existing drive partitions correctly
Super little guy
For the price it performs really good haven’t had any errors show up in the time I’ve used it booting up games faster than any HDD which is great since I’ve been able to move alot of media over to it from HDDs

Received the same evening after ordering around dinner time, Amazon delivery delivering super fast once again, the drive has booted fine, put windows straight on it and msfs, tested the speeds as it was doing other tasks and there as advertised, excellent, Gen 4 drive delivering great speeds, very happy with purchase
Excellent NVME drive
Fast NVME drive, used in a new Windows 11 build. I can’t fault Crucial drives, they have always been fast and reliable. I have quite a few now and have no hesitation recommending them.
Absolutely brilliant Ssd,very fast,the Ssd is Pcie gen4 and my computer unfortunately only Pcie3 but im still getting 3.1Gbs read speed,the Ssd must be awesome used on a Pcie4 computer for which its designed but also still backward compatible,would recomend to anyone,thanks
It has worked flawlessly after installing it.The disk has to be formatted and partitioned first before it is usable though, but it was easy to do that with the Windows disk utility.

Excellent, I use this as a backup drive to my laptop computer. This drive has saved me many hours of troubleshooting this drive updates everything Incrementally every day (this is why I need 4TB) and if there be any trouble virus or any other problem I go to my laptop use the latest update it only takes about a half hour to be up and running again instead of wasting hours trying to find a fault
