Thermal Grizzly PhaseSheet PTM High-End Phase Change

PhaseSheet PTM is a thermal pad based on a Phase Change Material. The solid pads at room temperature can be easily applied and liquefy during operation, effectively dissipating heat like thermal paste while maintaining optimal thermal conductivity.

PhaseSheet PTM adapts perfectly to uneven surfaces, ensuring even heat distribution. In its liquid state, it has very low viscosity and retracts back to its solid form, mitigating the pump-out effect.

-10°c at a bargain price.
Didn’t think I needed this till I swapped my thermal paste for this. I’m running a 9950x3d on a custom loop, but was still hitting high 80’s. Installed this ptm sheet and now mid 70’s on a higher ambient temperature. Little tricky to install, but I put mine in the freezer for 15mins and went on easy.

Well worth the tricky install!
I wanted to see if all the hype around PTM (Phase Change Thermal Material) was real, so I decided to do some real-world testing on a laptop. For the test, I used a ThinkPad L14 with a Ryzen 7 PRO 5580u CPU. Before installing the PTM, I did a fresh repaste with Arctic MX-4 to give the standard thermal paste a fair chance. Under an AIDA64 stress test, the CPU held steady at 74°C at 100% usage. During PassMark’s performance test, the max temperature hit 83.5°C. Honestly, that’s already pretty solid for a laptop with this much power. Then I swapped in the Thermal Grizzly PTM. With the same AIDA64 stress test, temps dropped to 68°C, and the PassMark test peaked at 81.9°C. Not a massive difference, but still an improvement. The bigger surprise came when I used PTM on my ThinkPad X1 Yoga. That laptop always used to run hot with fans blasting at full speed during anything intensive. After applying PTM, it runs noticeably cooler to the touch, and the fans don’t ramp up nearly as much.Overall, I’m genuinely impressed. PTM is trickier to install than regular thermal paste, but the results are worth it—lower temps, quieter fans, and a cooler laptop.TL;DR: Harder to apply than paste, but gives real improvements in both temps and noise.

arrived in perfect condition and worked perfectly.
arrived in perfect condition and worked perfectly it is a little tricky to work with but patience and tweezers made the job a little easier, as soon as it starts to get up to room temperature it starts to soften and becomes more difficult to place, so you are better placing it in the fridge for approximately 20 minutes before you start working with it.

PTM is quite difficult to apply!
I applied PTM to both the graphics card and the CPU. I’m not sure what the CPU temperatures were before, but on the GPU, the temperature in FurMark dropped by 20°C. Installing PTM is a bit tricky — it can be easily damaged. Initially, one side tends to stick firmly to the red strip it touches (the manufacturer should really improve this).

Easier to apply than thermal paste once in the fridge prior to application
Product was surprisingly easy to apply. Make sure you put it into the fridge for 20-30minutes. After that it applying like a thermal pad, nice and easy. My ryzen 7435hs with rtx 4060 laptop started to get slightly to hot for my linking within 3 months of usage. Repasted it twice with good 13.8kw m paste, no joi. Phasesheet is a game changer, temperatures started to drop during first heat cycle. This is nothing else than honey well ptm, so you know you getting quality product. It was confirmed by thermal grizzly.

hard to apply
not worth the hassle

Great
This stuff is great however it does suffer from pump out unlike what everyone else says if you use an arctic freezer 3 with both intel and AMD don’t over tighten them otherwise the ptm pumps out, normally works great I’ve had 2 bad batches though but I’ve ordered like 20 total and 2 out of 20 is really good if I’m honest.

Brilliant, effective, easy.
Temps dropped by 10C after about 10 thermal cycles. Easy to install with a little patience, less messy than thermal paste, and has a 10+ year lifespan. Why would you ever use anything else?

This is a great thermal solution especially for laptop direct die applications.I repasted a Lenovo Legion laptop that originally had genuine Honeywell PTM7950 and this performs more or less the same.If you’re using this product to replace traditional thermal pastes like Arctic MX-4, you’ll see a great improvement in temperatures.

Çok aşırı memnun kaldım 3080 Ti kartımda uyguladım. Ciddi derecede hotspot sıcaklıklarım ve normal sıcaklıklarım düştü. Kart hem sessiz hem de serin çalışıyor. Biraz fiyatı tuzlu fakat ekran kartınızı tekrardan hayata döndürebilir.

Decided to try this instead of Honeywell one because that one is difficult to find. In terms of application and ease of use it’s pretty much the same as Honeywell. And I suppose performance wise as well because it’s been quite some time since I applied it and my gaming laptop has not thermal throttled or even needed to ramp up fans a lot. Overall it’s quieter, colder and stutter free.I highly recommend to ditch normal compounds and get this instead. Follow instructions carefully and remember to clean every part of your heatsink and cooling system properly because using this.

Excellent cooling. CPU maintained at 38C at idle versus 46C with cryosheet which found has uneven clamping when replacing to phaseshift.
