Excellent!
The Sabrent USB C Hub 5‑in‑1 has been a reliable addition to my laptop setup—plug in, and suddenly I’ve got HDMI output in crisp 4K@60Hz, transfers at decent speeds, and the all-important 100W power delivery keeping my machine charged. The compact design makes it easy to carry and use on the go, and it handles my tablets, phones, and external drives without fuss. I particularly liked the USB-C and USB-A ports which give flexibility for different devices. On the flip side, when pushing lots of peripherals the hub did warm up a bit more than I hoped, and a few USB-C devices drew more power than the hub seemed happy to supply. For most everyday use—office, travel, presentations—it’s excellent. If you’re after high-end docking with dozens of ports, there are fancier (and pricier) alternatives. All in all, a smart buy for anyone wanting to expand a USB-C laptop.

Great USB 3.2 and HDMI Hub that delivers great performance.
Like most Sabrent products, this hub is well made and finished. The Plastic shell has an attractive metallic gunmetal grey effect. There’s a good quality built in black smooth TPE sheathed 60cm/2ft USB C cable to connect to your laptop etc. There’s also a 100W PD Port to plug into your charger to charge your laptop etc if required, though the included manual says that 20W is reserved for hub power, thus reducing the maximum charging/supply power to 80W. Towards one end of the case top there’s a discrete on/off switch incorporated.I tested the PD throughput using a 100W GaN charger and a known good high wattage USB C-C cable to charge a high capacity Powerbank. The Powerbank charged at about 57W, which is not as high as the Powerbank goes (up to 70W) but not bad if there’s a 20W power reservation in play.Drive installation to Windows 10 is simple enough. Plugging in with the switch ‘off’ gives a Iittle recognition tone but a plugged in USB drive doesn’t register unless the hub switch is switched on (which lights an attractive blue LED around the switch). I plugged the hub cable into the best USB socket available on my PC, which is a USB C 3.2 Gen 2, theoretically good for 10Gbps.To test this hub, I used a SanDisk 256MB Dual Drive Go USB drive to test the USB A and C ports. For both the USB A and USB C ports, I got about 382MB/s (3.05Gbps) Read and 166MB/s Write. This is right at the top end of the USB drive’s capability – a great result.Pros 👍:✔️ Attractive discrete design✔️ 2 USB-A 3.2 ports + 2 USB-C 3.2 ports + HDMI port✔️ Reasonable considering the data performance✔️ On/Off switch to minimize laptop drain if left plugged in without PD power connected✔️ One Year warranty extendable to Two years if you register on Sabrent websiteCons👎:❌ None at the price pointIn summary, this is a great hub with excellent data performance.

Reliable hub, functions well, does all I need it to do
The SABRENT USB Type-C 10Gbps 5-Port Hub:1 x HDMI port2 x USB-A ports2 x USB-C portsUSB-C power deliveryOn/Off buttonI have always trusted and bought Sabrent products as they have never let me down. So far, this compact little hub is no exception. Great value for just under £20 (down to £17.99 in October). It feels substantially sturdy with a wee bit of weight to it, yet still light enough to be portable. I originally thought it was all metal but I think it’s actually plastic! The attached cable is a decent length and feels top quality but is built into the unit. If that cable was to fail it can’t be replaced so the entire unit would be out of action. It probably won’t happen but it’s worth noting. A separate cable would have been much more practical and economical. That’s the only negative I have found. That aside, it’s a reliable hub, functions well and does all I need it to do.

Great looking hub, fully Mac + windows compatible
Attractive looking usb hub. They are really pushing the idea that this is a powered hub, it will take in 100 watts of power via the usb c input and requires 10 itself so will have 90 left to power items plugged into the hub. It has an 80w and 2 x 10w usb c output + 2 x 10w usb a output. On top of this there is a cdmi output making this actually a more useful hub than many on the market which have about 20 different connections which you are less likely to use, these are all useful outputs + you are able to power your laptop through it.This is windows + Mac compatible, its actually very compatible with a Mac which is nice as often hubs will have numerous monitor options which are windows only so its nice to find a fully Mac compatible hub.

It works reasonably well for a laptop with not enough usb sockets. The pass through power works well, but I still get a warning of low power connection, but my laptop wants 130 Watts so I think it will grumble with any usb hub. I tried connecting this to an hdmi splitter as I have three laptops connecting to 2 monitors. I think that’s the usb switch requiring a specific kind of connection that gets lost passing though the hub. The on off button is quite cool., but it only gets turned off when I hit it my accident; It seems you can pay $10 or $200 for a usb c hub, this seems like a decent option for a low price.

Alles bestens.Schnelle Lieferung.

I have tried several hubs and some wee returned because PD port was not letting enough power through. Another brand of hub melted and took out my motherboard. This one is highly recommended.

The product is well made and aluminum body. So less prone to beak and Crack. Most of the other hubs have USB-A ports but no USB-C ports. This has both two each. No issues using it. Would highly recommend it.

Beautiful design, sturdy, but USB-A ports do not let a keyboard function through it, AND more importantly, my SanDisk SSD does not connect via either of the USB-C ports. That’s specifically why I bought this replacement hub. Somewhat disappointed.
