Surprisingly Reliable For Longer Term Usage
Purchased two of these over time to connect some older SATA-SSD’s I had spare and to leave them connected to my main workstation for months on end.I’ve had no issues doing that whatsoever and they’ve remained pretty consistent in maintaining a connection. I tend to just use the USB Type-A ends on this, but the Type-C end also seems to work without issue upon testing it. Even if you lose the Type-C end, a generic Type-A to Type-C dongle will also still work with this.

A solid drive enclosure that does the job at an affordable price
I had a couple of 500GB SSD drives that I never got around to using in a computer, so I bought these enclosures to utilise them as external drives. They’re cheap and do the job.Fitting the drives was easy, and there are foam pads (and spares) inside to ensure a snug and secure fit (no rattling at all). While the slide-off lid for installation feels secure, I have secured it further with some black electrical tape, though I really didn’t need to do that.While I like the USB-C/USB-A combo on the cable, the thing that lets this device down a little is that the cable is not detachable from the enclosure (that’s the missing 5th star).
Simple but effective alternative to buying a power supply based Hard Drive enclosure
This worked for my use case – I saw my cousin had a different branded one and it helped us to install Windows on a new PC without an existing hard drive. Good purchase – simple and just worked.

Very easy to insert SSD into caddy and slide cover across. Handy having both USB A and C connections.
Compact and well made
Ordered this to be able to read an old SSD card. Very easy to use, can be used to Mac or normal PC as it has USB-C and normal ( USB-A) connector that is all attached ( so you can keep everything together). Description is very easy to follow. Little foam sticker included in case needed a lift for the drive to the connector. Unfortunately my SSD is too old and didnt read, but definitely works as the blue light came up immediately. Even though i couldnt use it for now, i keep it as its a very good product in case i will need an outer SSD for extra storage.

Works great. It is a snug fit for the drive so constant changing of the drive may not be a good idea to avoid damage to the drive the SATA connector.
Works, but flawed
Works OK, but the problem is that to get a disk in and out, you have to put it in an angle. I know from experience that the pins on an S/HDD can be quite delicate. I got it in ok, but bent some of the connection pins on the SSD even though I was being ultra-cautious, on removal. I cut off the end of it so I could slide my SSDs in and out without having to insert/remove at an angle. If you are going to stick 1 SSD in and never take out again, might be ok, otherwise I would recommend looking elsewhere or hacksaw off the end so you can slide the disk in/out as nature intended.
I set this enclosure up today and I’m really impressed. It’s simple, affordable, and works exactly the way a tech like me expects. The design is solid and it even comes with foam pads — one for SSDs and one for HDDs — so your drive fits snug and secure. I’m using it with a SanDisk SSD and the foam pad keeps it perfectly in place with no wiggle.The built-in USB cable is a great touch because I can’t misplace it, and it connects at full speed with no issues. I tested it with games and it loads them fast, just like running on an internal drive.This isn’t some flashy, overpriced gadget — it’s reliable, practical, and does the job right. If you want a no-nonsense enclosure for 2.5” SSDs or HDDs, this is a 5-star product all the way.

Ottimo prodotto, alloggiamenti e chiusure precise per una connessione perfetta.Ottimo il sistema “basculante” per avere sempre un riduttore da USB-A ad USB-C.Funziona anche con Android (se il disco è formattato in Ex-Fat), io l’ho preso proprio per questo, ero dubbioso ma funziona pefettamente, la mia compagna aveva necessità di scaricare un po di memoria e questo case permette di collegarci un hard disk di grosse dimensioni (io ho provato con un HD SSD da 250 GB).Ottima la velocità di trasferimento.Difetti:Cavo un po troppo corto e un po di difficoltà nell’aprire il coperchio per l’inserimento o cambio del disco ma è anche vero che non è un’operazione che si fa continuamente.In ogni caso un buon prodotto con un rapporto qualità/prezzo ottimo
