A reliable, easy to set up wireless access point
This is as easy to set up as the video shows. I have been running one for six months and it has been entirely reliable, and as speedy as my rural broadband will allow which is why I have just bought a second. The coverage distance is not quite as far within the house as I had hoped – but that’s largely due to a very large chimney breast that blocks the signal.
Great Access point
Ran a cat 7 from my BT router at the front on the house to my garden office building and plugged in the access point. Full speed broadband no access issue love the fact i can setup multiple networks as well as mirror the house network. One to watch might be router specific if i have a power outage i need to turn off the access point until the BT router is back up and running or i get connection issues. If you are looking to improve wifi in an area and can run a network cable i recommend this, small note i tried wifi extenders and they worked but were slow and usually a bit of a faff, this works flawlessly
Great value – Mesh capable
These access points are good value, offers wifi 6, multiple SSIDs and vlan support.You can use with the nebula app, though I’d recommended getting them configured without it (no cloud/nebula) as it has its quirks and you may not need it. I may see about resetting mine and reconfiguring themYou got to purchase a license to use some advanced features wich kind of takes the biscuit a bit as I belive you should never need to pay subscription fees to use your device at its fullest.Overall very pleased with the price of the device, setup is pretty easy.

5 Zyxel AP Devices in use within the home. Worst buying decision ever. The issues list is just interminable. Access points continuously reboot, are under powered, unstable and the rest. Side by side comparisons with £15 APs evidence their low power, low speed throughputs and instability. Never again. And license fees on top just rub salt and for what! Total rubbish.
Good WiFi 6 AP with plenty of features
1stly, you do not need a subscription to use one as mentioned in another review. You may need it for nebula, but it is also possible to control these in stand alone mode directly via the web interface. Nebula doesn’t really offer any advantage unless you have lots of devices you need to manage.It has useful facilities for diagnosing wifi problems, it shows the signal strength of connected stations and can show nearby access points too.I have 2 of these sharing the same SSID’s . I have the same SSID for both 2.5 and 5, but have also added a specific 5Ghz SSID as well.After using Zyxels own web interface I installed OpenWrt . I prefer it, although I haven’t done much with it yet. However it has a nicer way of showing nearby Wifi usage which is useful in manually choosing channels, [photo]

Bought this as my BT hub doesn’t do Wi-Fi6Set up is easy, though it does try to get you to subscribe for advanced features. If you just want a basic access point, you won’t need it.Range is very good, and covers the whole house, where the BT hub needed an extender upstairs.Comes with a power adapter, also supports Poe
WiFi signal weaker than Unifi AP Lite it was meant to replace
I bought 2 of these to replace 2 old Unifi lite AP’s.Setup was simple. Created a Nebula account before anything else, then adopted the AP’s using the provided QR code. Had both up and running in a few mins.Nebula cloud management is ok. It gives useful data but I found it quite slow to update eg if a device roamed from 1 AP to another it would take a while to show the change. Nebula is free to use, but you need to pay to unlock some of advanced features.I found the performance of these AP’s poor compared to the older Unifi lite AP’s. Even without running any dedicated tools it was obvious the signal was weaker in most areas. I spent quite a bit of time changing the radio settings to make sure they were transmitting at full power with as little interference as possible, but no luckIn the end I returned as they were a downgrade if anything compared to the existing AP’s.Gave 3 stars as they are very cheap, but performance isnt great

J’ai acheté ce point d’accès pour diffuser en Wi-Fi mon réseau Ethernet, et il fait parfaitement le job.La configuration via l’interface web est simple et intuitive : en quelques minutes tout était opérationnel, sans avoir besoin de l’application Nebula.La portée est excellente, le signal traverse facilement plusieurs murs avec une connexion stable et rapide. Même avec plusieurs appareils connectés en simultané, le débit reste fluide grâce au Wi-Fi 6.Le boîtier est discret, silencieux et ne chauffe quasiment pas, même en usage prolongé.À noter : ce n’est pas un routeur, il faut déjà disposer d’un réseau Ethernet pour en profiter pleinement.En résumé, un point d’accès fiable et performant, idéal pour améliorer la couverture Wi-Fi d’un réseau câblé existant.

Bueno hace ya unos días que lo tengo y la verdad es que no me esperaba que fuera también. En un principio me dio algo de problemas por qué todo está en inglés hasta la app nebula. Pero bueno con un pco de paciencia se aprende rápido y es fácil de configurar, tenia problemas con mi wifi en casa y al poner este aparato desactive el wifi de router y dejé que el zyxel se encargue de todo el wifi de la casa y la verdad es que va de lujo. Me dice la app hasta el consumo de datos que hace para aparato conectado a el.
