Great little SSD
Solid upgrade at a great price. I’d been battling with a cramped 16GB SSD on a modded Chromebook running Linux as a Plex server, so this was a welcome improvement. At just £19 when I picked it up, it’s excellent value—especially for a less common SATA standard in such a compact form factor. I chose the same make and model as the original for peace of mind, and cloning the drive went smoothly. It’s now running perfectly with no noticeable performance drop—and the added capacity makes a world of difference.

SSD upgrade for Netgate SG-2100
This one is a perfect match for Netgate SG-2100 firewall, so if you’re looking for an SSD that will fit without having to lift the MB from the heatsink to move the studs for different SSD size invalidating warranty, this is the correct one to fit. Tested on my own 2100, worked first time, so 120Gig certainly supported if you’re wondering.Been in for a few months now, no issues.
reasonably priced for a hard to find form factor
Been struggling with a tiny 16gb ssd on a chromebook modded to run linux, at £16 at time of purchase I got to say it was reasonably priced give that its a lesser used sata standard and in one of the smallest form factors, couldn’t find one cheaper new or used.running perfectly fine no noticeable difference in speed from the one it replaced and it’s a much larger capacity
First one didn’t work but replacement did work on iOTA 2310 and fits slot perfectly
Can’t get it to be recognized on the iota 2310 (aka Linx 14) even though it’s a perfect fit for the socket please let me know what’s wrong thanks
A quality M.2 SSD, a product which you can trust
I wanted an SSD for my HP Mini 300-050 Desktop computer which had an empty M.2 slot. It already had a hard-drive but I wanted to move the operating system onto an SSD to improve performance. I have had Transcend products before and always found them to be reliable. So in my search for a small form factor 22×42 which was the only card size my computer could fit, I found this trusty Transcend SSD card at a very affordable price. It is working perfectly and operates between 35 and 55degrees C. The startup times are transformed and other operations are swift. A great product.
Incompatible with many motherboards
The disc does work(e.g. in a USB adapter), but is incompatible with a lot of motherboards, including laptop motherboards. Not being detected by BIOS.
Easy Install
Got to upgrade a 32gb eMMC Laptop which had a M2 ssd slot.Installation was easy.However, there are no instructions what to do next but fortunately I have some experience using Windows.After install it does not show up as a new hard drive you have to open Disk Management select the drive to initialise as simple volume. Once this has been done it shows up under file manager as a new drive ready for use.Now setup laptop to install new programs to the M2 ssd drive leaving the original 32gb eMMC drive for new installations of Windows 10 as the are released.
Very useful for old laptops which has m.2 2242 ssd slot with decent read and write speed.
この420SはDRAMレス。430SのDRAMキャッシュ付きのほうが高性能だが、SATAタイプ、しかも11.6インチ超小型ノートPCならばそんなに変わらないと割り切って購入。 USB-CポートにUSBスティックのSSD(10Gbps)付けるよりも起動、シャットダウンが早い。ベンチマーク値そのものはUSBスティックのほうが高いけれどこのSSDもランダムアクセスは見劣りしなかった。 シーケンシャル R 546MB/s W 435MB/s ランダム R 99.31 W 191.21MB/s これならばシステムドライブとして申し分ない。 温度センサーも固定ではなく、ちゃんと動作する。ノートPCに最初から入っていたSSDはアジア系ブランド、しかも温度センサー固定(常に40度)、使用中の温度上昇に気づかず、動画エンコード後に熱死という残念な結果に終わった。 240GBという容量、少なめに感じたがOSインストール後も170GB近くあり、オフィスソフトのような事務系ソフトを入れるには十分すぎた。 今やM.2 2242自体が少数派の規格、SATAに関しては選択肢はわずか数種類、メジャーブランド製はTranscendだけなのが現状。2280タイプならば500GBの価格なので割高に感じたが、なにもかもがまともだ。ケチらなくて正解だったと感じた。
I bought this to expand my storage on a cheap laptop that only had 32GB storage memory and 4GB RAM, neither of which could be replaced but there was an M.2 slot that I’d ignored until this became my main device again. With room to breathe, she’s like a brand new machine. Windows updates all done, page file set to maximum, it’s a dream!I cloned the old C: drive on to this SSD, expanded the volume and then set the BIOS boot order to use this new drive before formatting the old, tiny drive. If this is what you are trying to achieve, it was easy enough to do and a quick web search will point you to the software/instructions on how to do this so I won’t detail it here.All good so far, and no complaints at all. 10/10

Ho acquistato questo SSD per sostituirlo su un laptop che aveva il disco in avaria. A un prezzo estremamente competitivo e usufruendo della spedizione veloce di Amazon – impeccabile, nel breve tempo di 24 ore sono riuscito ad effettuare la riparazione, ripristinando la funzionalità del PC che per me aveva carattere d’urgenza. Non solo: ora il mio laptop è equipaggiato con un SSD di qualità e capacità doppia rispetto a quello precedente; non credo che senza Amazon sarei riuscito ad ottenere altrettanto in termini di servizio, qualità e prezzo. Perciò da parte mia i complimenti sono sinceramente dovuti, al di la di ogni tono adulatorio di circostanza.
