Love these, connect really well with the Tapo app, you don’t need the hub, just your phone/tablet. Don’t think there’s a Windows version yet. The options are great too, can dim the bulbs as a pair/individually, set them to come on with other internal lights in the house etc, set timers, sunset turn on – this especially is great as it means the light doesn’t come on at 7pm in the Summer as it adjusts the switch on time according to info via the app. I think there’s also the option to have it switch off at sunrise if you want it running all night.
Tapo have got to be the best
Iv found they are the best smart range on the market for the price. Iv got most of the house fitted with these bulbs and i can control from wherever i am. The schedules are really handy too.Connecting to the wifi had no issues which suprised me, usally you have to faff around. Really easy to install!
Like the preset time and dimming function
Great energy savers. Can have as little as 1% light which is great if you like to leave a light on over night. Good to have timer function especially if your out til late at night or away.Only downside is if you forget and use the light switch, like me, several times! You have to set it up all over again, which is a pain.
Brilliant Tapo Bulb
Tapo is so easy to set up and use, I have bulbs plugs, and a camera.Works well in a large fireplace with 2 of them providing subdued lighting set at 25%. The light switch for them is difficult to reach behind a lamp so using Alexa is ideal.
First rate app to manage and control the LEDs.
Wanted to add wifi Controlled LEDs to the front door lights. Tried a pair with Tuya app but they consistently lost connection with the WiFi networks. After a few weeks of reconnecting and resetting with a dedicated network using a space router I gave up and purchased these TP link devices. So easy to setup and link to Alexa. Now have front door light that automatically light up at dusk. Perfect.

Adjustatable brightness and link to my Tapo camera – LOVE these
I love that I can adjust the brightness of the bulb and link them to even triggers on my Tapo camera. I can also program them as security lights to turn on/off at set times or randomly during an interval of my choice. Purchased 1 to try out and loved it so much I purchased 2 more boxes (containing 4 bulbs in each box). These are fantastic! I recommend them highly!.
