25mm screws are too short to fit normal size 25mm fan.

To start, this is a great cooler. Ram compatibility is great depending on orientation. Fan is actually not bad at all, quite and effective. I was going to replace with a Noctua, but I’ll probably end up keeping the Scythe fan. Using for a Intel 265K in a FormD/Ncase T1.AMD users:There does not appear to be any major clearance issues on AM4/AM5.Caution for Intel users:The rear cooler bracket is quite bulky and there is a risk of the bracket touching components on ITX or micro ATX motherboards. I have a ASRock b860i phantom gaming and the cooler works great on this board. Other board makers like Asus or X870 boards, have more resistors and capacitors on ITX or micro ATX that can be damaged because of clearance issues.

Runs more cooler and quieter then it’s counter part the NH-L12s i was using to cool down a 8700g within a Jonsbo c6 case.In a Cinibench all core load you can hear the fan but it’s not bad at all never went over 80c unlike the NH hit 86c+ and thermal throttleing a little. Also so much cheaper then the NH.Just be carefull of the fit as it just small enough to miss north and backplate heatsinks. Also make sure to get ram with low profile heat spreaders.

This cooler was put into an hp prebuilt pc, an hp tg01 with an erica motherboard. I upgraded the ryzen 5 3500 to a ryzen 7 3700x and the 1650 super to an rx 6600. I wanted good cooling to ensure the cpu lives as long as possible and with the stock cooler I was hitting mid to upper 80’s in games like battlefield 6. After installing the shuriken 4 my temps have dropped 20 degrees celsius instantly, my temps are now hitting upper 60’s to very low 70’s and this is with only the stock exhaust fan and no intake fans so there is still even more performance to be had.If you have the same hp motherboard as I do please note you will need to completely remove the motherboard from the case and remove the adhesive stuck stock backplate before installing this cooler. If you have built a pc before its not hard at all and if you are new to upgrading pc’s just search “HP Pavilion TG01-0023W – All That You Can Improve!” by hardwaresense and you will get a video detailed enough to get through it.

. HOWEVER DOES NOT SUPPORT AS120 or any fans that is 15.6mm since the screw in does not protrude much (if at all) so either find a longer screw or remove the feet of your fan if any.
