Yea yea… support better than your mom’s worn out brassiere. All in all it works well but not that well in the lian li 011 dynamic case. The screws will run into the glass if mounted to the fan. Slipped the bottom plate under the fan on the back side and ran her up and secured the srews.
This GPU support bracket from OwlTree is exactly what I needed in my new PC build. I wanted an easy way to affix a GPU anti-sag bracket in my PC and the unused fan holes of my 140 mm fans work just fine for that. There are some logistical issues to work out to get this bracket secured in my PC, from the poor accessibility of screw heads between the GPU and behind the face of the bracket (I ended up using a long metal rod-type screwdriver that came with a CPU heatsink) to making sure that the angle part of the bracket doesn’t contact the GPU’s fans. I have secured the bracket set at a ~1.5 cm distance from the GPU card’s side for now, but might trim the support angle bracket a bit and then flip the vertical riser bracket around to get closer to the GPU. Ad added benefit to flipping the bracket around is that the logo won’t be visible and the screws will be much more accessible, but also visible through my case side panel. The kit included 4 fan-style black screws and 2 longer, through-fan radiator-style screws as well as a bubble level. I just want to help support the 5080 Astral card and didn’t see the point in using the bubble level.I was a little worried about how well the thumbscrews would secure the bracket pieces but the softer plastic washers help grip the pieces together even with thumb-grip strength. Once I’m happy with the bracket’s positioning it’s easy to use a Philips screwdriver to apply a little more force. I do like this design, with two thumbscrews setting the height, more than other GPU braces that rely on a single thumbscrew.
I recently received the OwlTree GPU Support Bracket, and I must say, it has been a fantastic addition to my gaming setup. The main reason I bought this bracket was to address the issue of GPU sag, which can be both an aesthetic and functional problem in PC builds. The installation process was straightforward, with clear instructions that made it easy to set up. I was able to adjust the height to perfectly support my graphics card, and I appreciate the range it covers—accommodating both 12cm and 14cm fans. It’s great to have the flexibility to fit different configurations. What really stands out about this GPU support bracket is the quality of the materials. It feels robust and supports my graphics card securely without any wobble. Plus, the design is sleek and unobtrusive, fitting well within my case without taking up too much space or drawing attention away from the other components.I’ve noticed a significant improvement in the overall appearance of my build since using this bracket. It not only eliminates the concern of sag but also adds a touch of professionalism to the setup. Cooling performance hasn’t been affected either, which is a big plus.Overall, I highly recommend the OwlTree GPU Support Bracket to anyone looking to enhance their gaming rig’s aesthetics and protect their investment. It’s a simple yet effective solution for a common issue, and the price point makes it a great value. Definitely a must-have for any serious PC builder!
Made from cheaper plastic, which I thought was metal and why I ordered it. Its pretty flimsy if you need to use it at the upper most level and despite tightening it down as tightly as possible, It still slipped and warped a bit with a heavier item. Just be aware of the limitations
Complete kit at a very economical price. The finish had a few paint chips, but no a big deal. They were right where the foam pad gets placed. This comes with all the screws you need and a level bubble too. Installation took all of five minutes. Nice product overall at a great price.
