Worked straight away when plugged in, the security cover slides over easily without falling off, and the light is very good. It says to plug in the rear of the computer for the power, it did not work with my usb extension.

Great camera and has significantly improved my working from home set-up. This has added convenience now that I have a central point of focus on my monitor, rather than hunching over my laptop. A great price for great quality.The only set back, is that you need to turn the light on after the call has been answered by the recipient. Doing so beforehand sees the light turn off. I wish there was a way to add a preset, so that when the camera activates, the preferred light setting (mine is warm 2) activates instantly. Many times I have said “bear with, let me adjust my light settings”. However, for the price it meets all my needs and this is just a tiny set-back.

Good webcam- nice picture quality.Definitely feels a bit cheap and plasticky though.Plugs in via an old fashioned USB, but has an adaptor for USBc included.The little ring light is quite helpful for me as my room is quite dark and the only light is from behind. This works via a touch sensitive switch on the front which allows you to cycle through a couple of brightness levels of either a cold or warm white light. This works well, but is quite easy to turn off by accident.

Camera is fine, microphone is poor – we have started referring to it as my Medium Wave mic as it sounds like I am on the radio not a video call.

Because I require a large external monitor, my PC is kept “off to the side” of my desk, making its webcam awkward for ZOOM meetings.
