Excellent tool
I’m a late-comer to palm routers, always having had corded routers (by a very well-known brand). When I spotted this on Vine I immediately ordered it. I have other Bosch Professional kit, so I know how good it is, and I wanted to see how much better it was than a clone palm router (clone of another brand) I have.It arrived with the standard edge guide, and also a bearing guide, which the instructions seem to suggest is an optional accessory. Both guides are good quality, robust and securing firmly in place when in use. I tested it on some very hard reclaimed Oak panel, and it was flawless. I know a lot is down to the quality of cutters used, but my cutters are all fairly high end, so it was all down to the router after that. The power is perfectly fine, and controls are easily accessed in use. The biggest plus for me is not having to worry about the cable, which means your concentration is 100% on the job. I genuinely love these Bosch Professional tools. They’re well designed, well made, and from experience I know just how long they last; I have a cordless drill that is over ten years old, and still works as well as the day I bought it. And another big plus for me…the batteries haven’t changed, so I can use the same Bosch batteries on all the cordless kit. With a 5 Ah battery I could probably use this router all day, if I needed to. It’s a fantastic addition to the cordless tool cabinet, and one I will use more and more.

Thought i’d pick up this Bosch Professional Router to help level up some of the DIY wood working projects i’ve been doing as a hobby.On my first couple of tests with this router it seems like an amazing tool that packs a lot of power considering it’s compact design & being a battery power tool.Obviously being a Bosch tool it’s been made to an extremely high standard, I’ve used Bosch tools for years & never had a single issue with them.The tool itself is quite compact but feels nice & sturdy in the hand & it has a really nice weight to it.I love how easy it was to use & how quick everything was to adjust whether that was changing the depth or swapping out the bits.It has spindle lock button on it so you can quickly swap out the bits without needing multiple tools which is really handy & i also liked that they’ve added a couple different vacuum attachments to help collect the dust & wood shavings which is a nice added bonus.Being part of this “Amp Share” program means there was no battery supplied with this tool although thanks to already owning a couple Bosch tools i already had a battery from my impact drill that fitted straight on it without any issues.The only negative for me was the lack of a carry case, it showed the case on the main product picture where they greyed out the battery to highlight that the battery wasn’t supplied so i was a little surprised when it arrived in a small Bosch branded cardboard box with no case, seeing’s as the case wasn’t greyed out in the picture?Not a major issue as it doesn’t effect the tools performance but it would of been nice to of had a case to protect the router while it’s not in use.In the box you get the router, adjustable guide & a couple vacuum attachments, but sadly no case, battery or charger.Overall i’ve been extremely happy with this router so far.It’s worked amazingly well, it’s a nice & compact tool that packs a decent amount of power all while being easy to control & use.You will pay a little extra premium for a quality brand like Bosch but with the Bosch tools i’ve owned over the years i’ve not had a single issue with any of them & they’ve all been well worth the money.
Dosent come with the box

No carry case
Great tool as always from Bosch but the listing is misleading g and shows carry case that doesn’t come with it!
Solid Build, Smooth Usage

Parallel Guide, Surface Routing vac Adaptor, Edge Routing vac Adaptor, Flush Trim Roller Guide 1x ¼” (6.35 mm) Collet)Doing a fair bit of my own DIY, this was one tool up until recently I had not got in my tool set. I did not really understand what a router allowed you to do. Having researched the capabilities I decided that a router would be a very valuable tool to have, and this Bosch cordless model was one of the best on the market. This is part of the Pro range which is blue coloured tools, consumer tools are green coloured. The kit comes in a simple cardboard box and not the L-Box that one of the images suggest and does NOT include a battery or charger but included are two dust port adapters and a parallel guide. The build quality is as expected with Bosch, solid and robust and being part of the Pro range is not lacking on power or refinement in use. The size, balance and weight for a palm router is great, with excellent control and balance with rear grip, aided convenience of cordless makes this so convenient. It should be noted that the AmpShare battery platform that power these tools is designed to be universally multi brand compatible allowing one battery system to be used with several different brands. Overall a top notch pro level palm router that wont disappoint, great build quality, solid performance, smooth power delivery.
Top quality
Smooth and powerful with an excellent grip, this little edge router is a pleasure to use. The rack and pinion height adjustment is accurate and stable and it can be used over long sessions without much wrist strain. Supplied with 2 dust extraction adapters for surface and edge use, a side guide and a roller bearing edge guide, just add a battery and you’re good to go. I paired it with a 2 Ah battery for weight and balance and it performed perfectly.
