Excellent quality but check where sata ports will be
The quality of this bay adapter for 2 ssd’s is excellent, as expected from Corsair. And it’s good sturdy metal NOT plastic.Just check your PC case measurements to ensure you will have enough clearance to allow connection of sata and power cables.My case’s drive bay meant the sata cable header didn’t have quite enough clearance at the back so I had to utilise alternate placement of this adapter. Luckily it’s very sturdy and if inventive you can secure it in several positions using cable ties.

Almost perfect – 18 gauge Al plus powder coat, 44mils – interesting judgment call, choosing the separation distance between the drives. The lower drive is raised slightly to avoid any chance of contact between the tray and the hard drive circuit board. The bottom of the upper drive is 700mils from the bottom of the tray. This puts the top of a standard 9.5mm hard drive at 1.074 inches, 46mils taller than a 1.028 inch standard height 3.5 inch hard drive. This 1.074 inches is right at the spacing between 3.5 inch drive bays. And this puts the top of the upper 2.5 inch hard drive right at the bottom of any hard drive above it in a 3.5 inch drive bay. Altogether, this leaves about 536 mils, 13.6mm, for the lower 2.5 inch drive bay. This is less than the 15mm that might be needed for a high capacity 2.5 inch hard drive, but enough for a 12.5mm 2.5 inch hard drive, and a practical maximum for this dual 2.5 inch drive bay design. That’s the judgment call – maximizing the separation below, at the cost of minimizing the separation above. It’s a tight fit. Of course, a 15mm or taller 2.5 inch hard drive could be mounted in the upper 2.5 inch drive bay, while leaving the 3.5 inch drive bay above empty. And a thinner 2.5 inch SSD will have no problem at all with spacing. Significantly, there is no vertical interference into a lower 3.5 inch drive bay from screw heads, as with other bottom mounting 2.5 inch drive tray designs. Thankfully, all mounting screws are included, and all the mounting holes are tapped. Expensive, but it’s the best choice.Corsair CSSD-BRKT2W Available in White and Black – I like the white.

Prodotto più che ottimo, completo di viti per il fissaggio dei SSD, nel mio caso avendo un HP Prodesk 400 G7 SFF andava più che bene nel suo alloggio predisposto all’interno del desktop che per questa serie è difficile trovare l’originale HP. Naturalmente il colore bianco è un pò delicato ma una volta installato non si nota, l’importante che sia funzionale. Dimenticavo, è predisposto per un secondo SSD, che rimane distante qualche mm dall’altro per non influenzare la temperatura dell’altro SSD. Prodotto consigliato.
