high quality printer for the price
Bought this printer after I had to return another leading brand as it leaked ink al lover my prints.and I have to admit even though it is a third of the price of the returned one it prints higher quality for a3 and all sizes.Thoroughly recommend this printer I will stick with canon now for all my printer requirements.
A fantastic piece of kit for any keen photographer
After an initial faffy set up with so many options on the website to find the correct model I now have a fantastic printer. Really, I’m so impressed with this piece of kit I’ve got so many A3 pictures I’ve taken on the walls now I’m almost running out of space.I had.to phone customer services as I had not set it up properly but theybwere very matter of fact and helped me set it up in under five minutes and its wireless which is a bonus.I would recommend you get the best photo editor you can afford just to make the best of your pictures but this Canon printer once set up is a fantastic machine and it arrives with a new set of cartridges and gives the best reproductions I’ve seen in a printer.
THIS NEITHER SCANS OR COPIES A3 SHEETS OF PAPER
The title of the product clearly says “A3 Print, Copy, Scan” – It DOES NOT!High standard print to be expected from Canon printers, but I specifically needed an A3 scanner, copier and printer. Item is not as described. I will be sending back, but regrettably I threw away the packaging, simply because I believed the wording in the description and having used Canon printers before, I relied on their good name and sound manufacturing quality.

Arrived within time scale, no package damage. Well packed inside and simple get started user guide.Could have had slightly better diagrams where the packing transit tapes were, but otherwise easy to set up and worked as expected. Agree with some reviews about being not the fastest but print quality good.Bought to replace ageing Epson WF 7620 for A3 work but A3 scanning not a requirement now and A3 printing good. Overall happy except for printing speeds but can live with that,

Disappointing
Disappointing.The claimed all-in-one A3 solution does not do A3 scanning, only A4.The general build is flimsy – I would have preferred a bit more weight and height rather than trying to cram everything into a package that is too small and hence made out of wafer-thin plastic. There are some stupidities in the design – for some reason, you have to lift the ‘operation panel’ if you want to print anything, even though there is a reasonable size slot for the paper to come out of without doing this. Of course, when you lift the panel, you may not be able to see the screen on the front of it. The USB slot for thumb drives / memory cards that was on my old Canon has gone, and lastly, if you use this with Linux then it will not print via a USB connection unless you specifically set it up as a network printer via CUPS.
