Absolutely great just what I needed would recommend great printer

Not the easiest to set up, but worth the effort.
Having scanned the comments before purchase I noted a lot of the 1 star reviews that bemoaned the issues with installing the printer and the lack of useful instructions. It took several attempts for me to get it to install on my phone using the App. I then tried to put it on a tablet, and in doing so, messed up the connection with the phone, so I had to start again. Connections with both my Windows laptop & Chromebook weren’t much easier (primarily because my laptop is ‘managed’ by my work, so I can’t install any drivers etc so had to rely on Windows drivers).All of that being said, now I have it all set up, the printer more than does what is asked of it. Previous WiFi printers that I’ve had were forever needing to be rebooted as the WiFi connection kept on dropping out. This printer however, has been there whenever I have tried to use it, whether on phone, tablet, laptop or Chromebook.The ‘starter’ ink that comes with it lasts no time at all, but I’ve now purchased some more ink so fingers crossed that lasts a little longer.Overall very happy with the printer, although it really was not the easiest thing to set up initially.

Overly Complicated to Set-up!
Ridiculously complicated to set-up, no instructions, requires a bl**dy app on your phone.After 2 hours of pratting about to no avail I gave up in utter despair and boxed it back up for return. Just not worth the stress. Why manufacturers insist on making the consumer download poxy apps and WiFi tosh rather than making the set-up experience simple and painless is beyond me. I’m reasonably tech savvy and this got the better of me. Hugely disappointed as I wanted to get away from hp’s greed and move to Canon.

Love this little printer. Had the same one in the US before moving here and was happy to order the same(ish) model. It connected first time to my laptop wirelessly and scans/prints like a champ.The power-save had me befuddled for a hot minute. The US model has power-save as the default setting, but this one didn’t and every time I tried to turn it on I was obviously not completing the process properly and kept having to turn the machine off manually. Fear not, the old grey cells kicked in eventually and I did manage to turn on the power-save function.

Cheap but expensive ink
Handy air print all ways available only two ink tanks so it’s not wonderful for photo prints, but the price was right except ink refills are expensive, For occasional use its very handy

I’ve spent 3 hours trying to set this up and still I was unsuccessful. My WLAN had trouble adjusting itself to 2.4GHz so NO WIFI CONNECTION WAS POSSIBLE between my laptop and this printer. 5 GHz connections are not supported. As an alternative, I turn to the only cable that was included in the package, an ethernet cable. Guess what, ethernet is also not supported! Why is it included in the package? For fax? The last remaining option is USB but, there is no USB cable in the delivery! Spent the whole day resetting router, trying to split the SSID to 2.4 and 5 but lost the entire WIFI and had to do factory reset. Still, it does not work. It’s year 2025! How come a printer is this complicated to connect to a laptop?
