We ordered lots of monitors trying to find one we liked. We had an old tommee tippee dream view but it broke so needed new.We ordered lots of different brand and all around the same prices. We found that a lot of them either wasn’t a clear enough picture or had a real lag on the sound. We could hear the baby before the sound came through the monitor.I found this monitor and i would say the picture quality isn’t quite as clear as some of the others we tried but there is no noticable lag in the sound. The picture quality is still clear enough that you can see the baby’s face ect.Very happy with this monitor.
Amazing at first, 6 months later stopped working correctly
After 6 months of use perfect use. Amazing picture quality and all functions working. The monitor buttons no longer work correctly. When moving the camera via the monitor the camera goes up when pressing the down buttons. It also has alot of feedback noise on the monitor when no noise is in the room with the camera.
Great safe monitor only 1 minor problem
This baby monitor is great works flawlessly range is good picture is very clear and sound is clear. Nice that it’s not WiFi so no one else can connect to it. The 360 control of the camera is great only problem is it can’t angle down fully so we have had to put the camera on a slant so I can look down more.
Glitchy
The video quality is good, light or dark. The sound is good. The zoom and move functions are good. It’s all great EXCEPT that the monitor glitches. It will either lose signal for no reason in the middle of the night and start beeping, or just beep for no reason.This is such a massive issue – sleeping when you have a baby needs to be as undisturbed as possible. Being woken up by your monitor is unacceptable. I contacted the manufacturers and they couldn’t help.So I would not recommend. Which is a shame because it’s otherwise exactly what you need.

We got the used but practically new option, it came looking brand new and works perfectly! So many options!
Poor range and night vision/zoom feature
I bought this monitor on Prime day hoping it would be of good quality, as Tommee Tippee is a ‘trusted brand’. It was still a lot of money to spend despite the discount, bearing in mind the other makes of monitor are between £40-70.Sadly, the range is very poor. It’s marketed as having a 250m range but if I even step into the back garden it loses signal and beeps incessantly. Our house doesn’t even have thick walls – it’s a chalet! In addition, the video quality on night vision/zoom is very pixelated which is pretty useless when you’re watching for their breathing.I’m a bit cross about the amount I’ve spent and might as well have saved my money and gone for a cheaper model. I keep having to go back to check baby now as the signal is so poor on the device.Given 2 stars as the sound is good and the user interface is easy to get used to.
Love but the connection and battery life are so poor
Things I love; portability, no requirement to connect to wifi so good for travel. Sound and monitor clarity good. Easy to use.Things that are frustrating; the signal – my god this is such a pain. We live in an apartment and the monitor just constantly beeps saying there’s a weak signal. It keeps us up quite a bit which is not what you want after spending 8 months trying to get your baby to sleep through the night.Charging time is the second big downfall. For such a small device, it takes an overnight charge, sometimes longer for the monitor to charge up. And then it only lasts for a couple of days. My e-bike batter takes 4 hours and lasts for a week so this is so poor.Wish it had a white noise function as there’s lullabies etc on there so we’re using a separate machine for white noise.
Very good camera
Very good, the only downside is the difficulty to get the position of the camera over the whole cot. It does need to be up higher than the cot and takes a few goes to get the right position but once you have it the camera works really well. Night vision is spot on and yes it can lose signal but this is very rare and only happens to us when we set up for the first time at a new location. Overall I would buy again and recommend if you have the patience to set it up first time
