Super speed and bulid quality is rock solid..So many products are buyed but asus tuf gaming product is value for money.Nvme ssd installation is so easy..
This is just another addition to my other Asus gear which I am completely pleased with. I chose it because of integration uniformaty across my gear. The advertised info may be somewhat confusing to some as it can only hold One Drive and not Two. It just means it can hold an NVMe SSD or a SATA SSD, which some enclosures can’t. It came with a USB C to C cable to support the data transfer speed. It does not come with the Hex Key Tool required to open the Enclosure however, but this is shown on the Box what is included.Nice and hefty build quality and definitly TUF. Install of the SSD is very easy and the little plastic clip holds the SSD well and easily. Asus has a Video on their Support page with full instructions on how to install and format using this enclosure. Very Usefull and I recommend watching it if you have any questions. Very Pleased with this purchase.

It is not exactly toolless. You will need to safe keep the metal pin to open the 4 screws. If you lost it, then even god can’t help. Other than that it works fine, as of now (after about a month of use). Speed will be based on your usb port (max will be 2.5GBps or less only).
AMD x570 and that generation the Ryzen 3900X, My current system, has a weird USB data drive glitches, at least it did at the start. This is the first external case supporting the USB 3 10 gig over USB-C that has worked and achieved over USB 3 standard 500 meg speeds in my system, the current one, as I mentioned earlier. But this actually supports 20 gig the a2 model so on x670 which is my future system which I’m already building, working on, etc. this should in theory allow it to go even faster, unless there’s issues with x670e and Ryzen 9000. As far as I know they’ve worked out their USB data to drive issues and Windows 10 has worked that out as well so I look forward to this thing being even faster that’s a drive in there is Gen 4 and this supports specifically the Western digital SN850X 8 terabyte NVMe SSD that one does seven gigs and so yeah eight terabyte external drive that is very fast! it’s nice! definitely choose the a2 version over the A1 since a2 is faster! Keep that in mind!
