Better image quality than the original …somehow.
Works great, though the 2 cables from the junction for usb-c and DP are shorter than the original, so I had to get extensions. Doesn’t have the power button like the original but I never used that dodgy thing anyways. Now, this is a stretch – but I feel like the image quality or more specifically the 3d-depth effect, is stronger with this cable than the stock hp cable it replaced, which gave a flatter, less 3D-looking output. It doesn’t really make sense to me, since id expect both cables to be identical internally and not affect something like that, but I guess the stock hp cable really is trash after all. Happy I bought this after it died, and im kinda glad it died so I’d end up buying this thing to replace it.
This works as advertised! As you know, HP does not make these anymore, and they were hard to get anyway. This gets you what you expect, and it replaced a busted cord in my old HP G2 and it works!
Works perfect. Fixed my 1-4 error, and brought my reverb back to life. It’s the version 1 cable, not the version, but as long as it works I don’t care. Also, if any you need to re-alive your WMR headsets, on Windows 11, look on steam for the Oasis driver. It’s a free download, and works great to get WMR back.
Worked on my machine to fix a bad factory cable. This cable is probably higher quality than the one HP cheaped out on, actually. I’m docking a star because the displayport and USB-C leads from the junction “box” are about a foot shorter than stock, and there is no on/off button so you’ll have to just unplug the DC input to turn it off (I was already doing that anyways though).
Bought HP reverb G2 V1 cable, i had the “Check your USB cable”, Error 4-1.He shipped it to South Africa and it works. I am so happy right now as i just got my AMD 9070XT and my VR headset works again! Thankyouuuuuuuuuuuu!
