wow a great read
A great storyline, lots of drama loved Brynn who is pregnant and Vander her husband who was upset at her as she was injured on a job and was tense, on edge and distant so she decided they both needed a vacation. They fly to Italy and are accompanied by his brother Rhys and wife Haven who had the villa next to theirs. Then Vander wanted to go visit a friend from Ghost ops Justin, they had been in it together. He asked his brother if he wanted to go with him, he said yes, so the girls went shopping. They met up with Justin at his house and he said he would take them to a great coffee house plus he had a job he wanted help with. They captured the man who had been harassing and bullying his ex wife. They put him in Justin’s and he left with him, thanking Vander and Rhys with an invite to bring their wives for a meal. Then they were attacked they were both tasered and taken away. There is much more to the story very dramatic, well worth the read and a lovely HEA. If you haven’t read this series, I definitely recommend you do, its a brilliant series. Love all Anna’s books/series.

Ah it was so lovely to visit the Norcross family again. This time Brynn and Vander get into some trouble on their Italian vacation. Loved the cameos from all the other family members too. Reminds me how much I loved Norcross Security series… might need to do a re-read!
Badaxx Mr & Mrs Norcross return
It’s great to catch up with Vander and Brynn. An idealic vacation in Scilly, posh Villa and lots of sun and siesta to boot. Great to see that Vander can have a holiday from his job, but still stressing on his wife. Brynn is tough just like Vander, both think and work the same they are in sync to keep each other safe. So Vander and Rhys are abducted together for doing a safety job back home, but the mafia who took them got wrong end of stick. This triggers Brynn rescue mode to get her husband back, no consideration to her own delicate situation. Vander worried about her pregnancy and being in dangerous job. Both worried for each other. She goes on rescue mission to get both men with help of Ghost Op friend in Scilly.By time Brynn gets into Villa to find Vander, he has released himself from chains for both of them then trying to fight his way out with guards with no weapon. Brynn and Vander eventually meet up in basement, he knew she would come for him.They eventually got out Villa to run in fields to get back to their own villa, but mafia surrounding them again, this time Mafia knows who Vander is why he shouldn’t have crossed him.Rhys and Vander back safely in villa after ordeal, but his parents turn up uninvited on their vacation end. They want to keep pregnancy quiet as still early but Rhys let cat out bag to avoid his mother over fussy on his injury. All ends well for them all with dog joing them on vacation.Great catch up on Norcross team. Enjoyed it thoroughly.
Holiday in Italy what could go wrong
Just a short read but kind of book 10 , loved the Norcross series 9 books for you to read, did not think anymore will be released its been 3 years, We have other series set in the same world and Mr Norcross makes a cameo. But this was a real treat, a holiday in Italy, plus getting use to a pregnancy.Would loved to see the men with their young children would be funny to see how protective they get maybe a Christmas holiday get together?

Captivating
Anna never fails to capture the attention of readers as this book hasn’t changed that fact. The characters personality oozed out of every word, you can feel the tension in Vander as he spirals and Brynnes frustration at his lack of communication. The added action with the Mafia don was just a bonus. Brynn kicked butt and proved she was a Norcross.

I love Norcross series. This one is another great addition. Please read in order, it makes much more sense then.
Vander and Rhys are vacationing in Sicily with their wives Brynn and Haven. The guys get abducted by the Mafia, and Brynn is determined to get them back, even though she is pregnant! Thus follows an action packed adventure with both Vander and Brynn bound and determined to save the other! It was great to reconnect with them all!The pace is breakneck and the tone is intense with an action and character oriented storyline that has some steamy scenes! The characters are vivid and kickass. Brynn proves to be more than enough badass to keep up with Vander! Read these in order. But to start at the whole beginning, start with Treasure Hunter Security in order, then read Team 52 in order and then all the Norcross Security books in order and then Sentinel Security in order. Then you can read the Billionaire Heists series in order and finally the Unbroken Heroes series in order. If you have never read Anna Hackett before, you have a LOT of action packed, sexy romances to read and enjoy!
I loved reading this story, couldn’t put the book down. Every book in this series has had that effect. They are adventures that keep you turning pages. Loved each and every one. They also make you smile or laugh. I wish there were more.
This book is a novella within Anna Hackett’s Norcross Security universe. I don’t think reading it as standalone is advised, because then it might seem over the top.Vander Norcross is a recurring character in many of Anna Hackett’s books, his own story where he meets his lovely wife Brynn is “The Powerbroker”. Their wedding is featured in the Novella “Mr. & Mrs. Norcross”.That being said, it was an entertaining and short read. I loved the main characters from the moment I first met them. Their partnership is everything and more. No meek woman, who needs constant rescuing but one who is the cavalry. The setting in Sicily is a nice change, even though there’s not much time to explore it. The story is fast paced, with a bit of spice.Thank you Anna Hackett for another glimpse into the lives of Brynn and Vander, I hope there might be more in the future or maybe some next generation stories some day.
This short slice packs a heck of a lot of action and adventure. I love these two together and how perfect a team they make when they get in sync. I loved it!
[Written under the assumption that the reader is familiar with the Norcross Security series.] This was a delightful romp, with lots of danger, thrills, and feels. Vander is having trouble wrapping his over-protective mind around impending fatherhood and the inherent dangers of Brynn’s work as a police detective. They’re trying to relax on a holiday in Sicily, but Vander ends up getting abducted, and Brynn goes after him. Mayhem (with quite a bit of hilarity) ensues, many many bad guys regret their career choices, and Vander gets his head on straight. A bunch of our favourite Norcross peeps make appearances, and even Hades sends in a very hot friend to help. A lovely short read, and I would be very happy if it also appeared in print and audio.
