The TRACER ProScribe is the perfect item for tradespeople and DIY enthusiasts looking for a marking and scribing tool that can serve multiple functions in all kinds of scenarios. With an intuitively designed ratchet-style mechanism, the user can adjust the scribe tool to one of 16 positions to best fit the job that they are working on be it hanging doors, worktops, tile flooring, plinths, and skirting. It can be used as a profile scribe tool and also a compass.
When paired with the included TRACER Deep Hole Construction Pencil, the ProScribe is effective when marking on wood, metal, plastic, and ceramics. The extendable and retractable pencil lead can further assist in gaining greater precision when marking out offcuts and parallel measurements.

20-100mm Parallel Marking Mode
The 20-100mm Parallel Marking Mode allows users to mark longer distance offset parallel lines while maintaining the accuracy needed for professional working.
Contour Marking Mode
Use the ProScribe in contour marking mode for more precise marking when dealing with larger offcuts. Keep at a 90-degree right angle for the best result. In this mode, the ProScribe becomes the ideal profile scribe tool.
Compass Mode
Adjust the ProScribe into compass mode to achieve smooth circular markings for precision working.

Really useful for Marking out. Writes well on most surfaces, especially melamine board which is normally a pain. Haven’t used the scribe yet but feels solidly built
Good but needs improvement.
It’s great and it works best for skirting/plinth however the bolts/tightening mechanism is still too loose even when fully tightened. If you put any pressure on the pencil or put too much pressure on the item you’re scribing the pencil moves and you have to readjust. Recommend for horizontal use or flat surfaces and not vertical. If you replace the bolts with something more industrial it would be 5 stars.

Great pencil, terrible scribe
Absolutely love the Tracer pencil, but the ProScribe is junk, it’s flimsy cheap plastic, so bad I had to return it as it’s far too expensive for the poor quality, I’d expect about a £4 cost but even then it wouldn’t get used as it’s so flimsy and brittle.
