Quick wizard, fast wifi
The wizard for the Zyxel NWA110BE was easy and the access point was quickly working. There are plenty of options to set later for tuning. I found the list of connected devices with the signal strength very helpful. My house has 3 storeys – the signal at the top of the house is weak, but I have another WAP up there. Zyxel’s community is useful and Zyxel themselves will answer questions. I found the video courses on their website recently, and those helped further. I used a USB-c PD adaptor to power this instead of PoE.
Great performance, not the cheapest and you will need a POE injector. Worth the investment.
I provide IT support for my family. I had two sets of users in different locations but having Wifi dropouts and performance issues.I already has the bigger version at home, so I suggested we look at this unit.One site managed to remove the Wifi extender and disable their existing wireless and still had better coverage and have had no issues.The other location, have very thick walls and they will be needing another unit, but again it reduced dropouts and devices were connecting at a higher speed.Please note that you will need a POE switch or POE injector. It will need to support 23-25Watts. I used the Zyxel POE injector (5Gbit version).Also, using the Nebula cloud management feature allows me to help manage the two sites without the hassle of driving for 5 hours.

Have this and the bigger brother wbe660s together hard wired in to a poe switch, strugggled at first with the wireless backhaul Zyxel recommend, throughput was terrible, so have both hardwired just using smart mesh. Works well now and after a recent firmware update (6.75) I am seeing speeds just as quick as my Orbi960 system. Nebula easy to use but £34.99 a year per device is a bit steep, only £10 per device for Netgear Insight.

From a competent but untrained user:This is s a very comprehensive piece of kit. There’s a whole piece of connectivity for security and remote web access, which I don’t need but the rest is perfect for a flexible local WAP.I bought it to reproduce a home wireless network for a proprietary wireless router (BT) which has got corrupted Wi-Fi setup, perfect! The flexibility to have multiple SSIDs is perfect for troubleshooting/maintenance of different wireless bands. Recommended but it is a heavy piece of software, and finding out how to do things is proving a bit of a struggle. I’m currently searching for support on how to achieve everything I can from it.
So easy to set up i got 2 and had them both up and running within 15 minutes

Gerät erworben, mit der Intention einen AP im Garten mit WiFi7 zu installieren.Das leistet das Gerät, also 3 Sterne.Dann das sehr gute Interface mit der Möglichkeit was auch immer man möchte fein einzustellen – das ist der 4. Stern.Der 5. Stern, da das Gerät auch unter erschwerten Bedingungen funktionieren kann. Die ersten Wochen war das Gerät mit viel Wohlwollen fast trocken untergebracht – unter einer Abdeckung vom nicht wirklich trockenen Lichtschacht, das hat keine Performanceeinbrüche verursacht. Jetzt ist das Gerät im Gartenhaus untergekommen – trockener und mit 2.5GBit an einen Switch angeschlossen und rennt weiter wie die Wutz.Firmwareupdates kommen auch immer noch regelmäßig. So muss das sein.
It is always the question what you need it for, but if you are looking to set up a series of access points on one site, the convenience of Zyxel Nebula (with the caveat that I think the app and web-interface are too old fashioned) is beyond more consumer oriented brands. Adding a device to your existing site is as easy as scanning the barcode on the back of the device and you are set.
I’m not sure if this is compatible with the united states , it came in and would never power on. The website did not indicate that it did not come of the power source. Item was shipped from Spain and took longer than expected.When it arrived , it wouldn’t power on then Then I had to order a p o e from the same manufacturer And an AC adapter just to make sure it would work. After waiting another two days for the power sources to arrive neither worked Extremely frustrated

Het gebruik van één SSID is bijzonder handig.Vergeet niet eerst de firmware te updaten, anders werkt niet alles naar behoren.Het product voldoet voor ons prima en het is de eerste oplossing die goed werkt in combinatie met dikke betonnen vloeren, tripple glas met beveiligingsfolie etc.Met 3 AccessPoints hebben we overal (binnen en buiten) draadloos toegang tot Internet (ca. 600 m2).
