Wera Quality
I keep coming back to Wera tools as they are such good quality. The prices make my eyes water somewhat, but at least you know that you can rely on one, so avoid the cheap stuff and buy these.The colour coding is useful for quick recognition of the size you need. This is something that Wera often uses on their tools when appropriate. They are comfortable to use and the security feature of these provides great utility as thay will work on normal and securiry Torx heads.

High Quality – High Price
Hmmm. Like many blokes I’m a sucker for shiny new tools. I swear that most men are part magpie and don’t tool manufacturers know it…Anyway, I found myself in the fortunate position of needing a new set of Torx bits and using this as an excuse to raid my wallet I bought these, a fancy set of Wera Torx keys which, frankly are wonderful to look at and sit in my tool box like objects of desire, but in reality don’t justify the price.The good is that these are supremely well made by a high class manufacturer and as long as you don’t lose them, lend them out or have them nicked, they’ll probably outlast you – and maybe your kids.They are colourful and this helps the bling factor. I guess it makes them easier to see and to choose the correct one, but mostly, it’s about the bling.The negative is that the price is really too high. You could buy non name stuff for a couple of quid and similar quality for about half the price. The other thing is that these are not actually that big – see the picture – and that means you will have a lack of torque on a tight fixing. Worth thinking about because you can get longer keys.In the end you make a choice. Overspend on the best there is and hope you don’t lose them or go cheap. For me, being a lover of tools and an engineer, I can always justify the few extra quid when necessary. And these are really very good tools.

Got these for the security torx at one end. Seem good quality, no issues. Haven’t had a lot of abuse from me though.

Used and own a lot of different brands but these are my favourite. Between Wiha, Park Tool, Wera, and generic hardware store brands – this is the one that holds up best with wear and abuse. Wiha has tigther tolerances but I’ve found to be slightly softer. Haven’t tried Pb Swiss but don’t feel like I’m missing out too much. *If working on bikes, the round stock is a larger diameter and will not fit into deeply recessed bolts FYI.
