When notified, you can open the app to learn more about the disturbance before deciding if you want to take any action. The pause function freezes all notifications for up to 20 minutes while you decide what action to take. The smart app also effectively tracks factors in baby’s sleep environment and measures them against baby’s disturbance patterns so you can identify the reasons for any disruption. Advanced baby monitor
The Tommee Tippee Dreamsense Smart Baby Monitor is undeniably superior to the baby monitor we previously used. It’s packed with clever features that give parents peace of mind without having to constantly worry about their children. The monitor is simple to set up and use. The smart app provides clear video and audio (two-way talkback is also supported), as well as the ability to move the camera around and zoom, take a picture, and access some really useful features such as comfort zones, sleep patterns, and preset lullabies. I like how accurate it is at picking up baby and notifications instead of false alarms caused by other background noises. The parent pod is also a great way to receive notifications without relying on your device. Green indicates that everything is fine, flashing amber indicates a change in sound, solid amber indicates a change in temperature, humidity, or light, and flashing red indicates that the baby has made a noise. The unit’s light can also be turned off at night to reduce disturbances to one’s own sleep. Overall, this is a very advanced baby monitor that is ideal for those who are constantly using and relying on their smartphones or tablets but also want the backup of a parent pod
NOT AS DESCRIBED – POTENTIALLY UNSAFE!
I purchased this monitor expecting a brand-new product, but the first one arrived with a broken security seal and clear signs of previous use. The camera did not function properly. I returned it for a replacement, but the second unit also had a broken seal and did not detect sounds correctly.This raises serious concerns about whether these monitors are being resold after use or tampering. Given that this is a safety device for a baby, such issues are unacceptable and could have dangerous consequences. I’m extremely disappointed to see this sold under the Tommee Tippee store name, as I expected much higher standards from such a reputable brand.
Very disappointed for the price
I originally purchased a Nooie 360 cam which we used from newborn to 5 months. We were then thinking about her being in her own room, where we do not have a thermostat (allowing us to manage the temperature) so felt this product would help with the temp/humidity tracking.The baby monitor arrived with the seals broken of the box broken and the contents out of place which is a little concerning for such an expensive item. I checked everything over and nothing seems damaged/missing but saw this on someone else’s review too, so very odd.The night vision is poor compared to the Nooie (which was £32!), the 2 way audio doesn’t seem to work and it doesn’t seem that you can move the camera pan/tilt from your phone like you can with the Nooie.To be honest with the Nooie being £32 and this being £300 I expected it to do the same + more. The battery life of 6 hours on the parent pod also seems ridiculous given that it would be perfect to use from the moment you put baby to bed and when you wake up in the morning, ie 7pm to 7am…The sleep tracking which they claim to be great, only has the option of hourly bedtimes, so if your baby goes down at 7.30pm, you either have to select 7pm or 8pm and lose/gain some sleep time to get it tracked!I do however like the multi user option meaning I can be logged in on iPad and phone and hubby can use his phone too.

very advanced product from a very reputable and industry-leading baby products seller.The camera is very powerful with amazing features that can be remotely controlled and operated – providing excellent peace of mind for parents.I love hardware products and I love how they interact with smartphones. The app is very comprehensive, well-developed, and without any flaws as far as I have tested.Notifications came through immediately and clearly.I think this is a super-intelligent camera with enhanced features that make parenting effortless and under control.It is portable and is very quick to set up and launch, pretty much plug & playIt is made from quality plastic materials.The camera image is above average and the quality is very crisp, especially the night vision, and offers efficient tracking and monitoring.All in all, this is an enhanced version of other smart baby cameras with amazing features and abundant app possibilities to customize different control and notification levels, especially very important as your child or children age with time and you need to adjust to new realities oftentimes.It felt like the battery capacity of 6-7 hrs was just enough to power through the day with the baby and like with any other tech gadget, it is easy to charge.The amazing thing is that as a parent you can do amazing things with the app. You get to learn so many things about your child and also discover amazing aspects of parenting at the same time. The levels of notifications you set are unique to your own situation and parenting style and the environment in which your child is growing / living.It was at this moment that I felt that the extra pair of intelligent eyes was so crucial, it eliminates one point of failure and human error. In summary, a great parenting product to have!
More erratic than the baby it’s meant to monitor
When it works, it’s great – handy to have the monitor feed directly to your phone.However, since buying it, I’ve lost count of the times I’ve had to try and connect back to our network, as like your baby, your monitor will decide when it wants to be cooperative.For the price we paid, I would expected more robust connectivity options (having to adjust your WiFi to 2.4G every time the monitor drops out of pairing) and so although I have nothing else to compare it to, I’d look elsewhere for your baby monitor

Have been using for 2 weeks with my newborn and overall not impressed.Pros: cost, app controlled, easy setup.Cons: overly sensitive and sends notifications of “noise” when there is none, whilst also ignoring screaming baby. Video freezes in app (on multiple devices so not just my phone). Can only see video through phone app meaning you can’t really use your phone while bub sleeps (given you can’t trust the notifications).Overall would not recommend and will be seeking to replace asap.
The video is very clear, that’s pretty much the only good thing about this monitor. The listing states that it can be moved remotely, after being unable to figure out how to do this I contacted Tommee Tippee and was told that it has only a manual pan and tilt. The manual tilt is fine but a manual pan is pretty pointless when you could just as easily move the whole unit.It is difficult to mount the camera, it seems that it relies on having a strategically placed shelf in the room to get the perfect angle.I had to put broad tolerances for room temp, brightness and humidity to avoid being bombarded with notifications- even when I switched the notifications off they kept coming.I haven’t used it overnight yet so can’t comment on whether the sleep analysis is accurate.Overall very disappointed in this unit, I’m glad I paid less than half price but even at a huge discount it is very poor value.
