excellent value for money, minor installation snags
Excellent value for money. Performance is excellent, cooling a 9800X3D doesn’t get over 60C in eco mode and not over 82C in normal mode, under a prime95 torture test. A bit tedious to install – it’s especially hard to make the 2nd screw thread into position – but with a little push it worked, had to apply slightly more force than what I would usually be comfortable with. Included thermal paste was hard to apply, I’d recommend getting a separate better quality thermal paste for an easier experience. But it worked. Besides these two snags, fantastic product. But then given the price, compared to similar products from other brands, I think this is acceptable. Beware this cooler is enormous in size, so check case specs first.
