My son enjoyed building the machines and learned a lot from it.
Adult help needed
A great gift for 9 yesr old. Needs adult help to construct. Fun to play with.
Playing with purpose!
My 8 year old grandson loved this. The instructions were clear and easy for him to follow without much help from Dad! He has remade the model several times each time with enthusiasm. I will look for another similar “toy”.
Not a complete pack to be able to do much of the experiments!
Since it does not have certain item/s in order to undertake activities you cant do many of the experiments i still have it but i need to get hold hold denatured alcohol and this is an additional cost which is quite costly! I feel the things that are added are durable they do look sufficient to do the job and children are very impressed and exited about using them including adults would be quite impressed to. however, the dna model is quite small in my opinion. Overall, I think it is a little much expensive for what is provided considering you cant get started unless you purchase the denatured alcohol which will put you out quite abit.But i would not say to lose interest in it at all- lets just say i would have been much happier with the item if someone else bought it as a gift for me than me spending £25-£30 on it! I would value it at £10-£18!

Poor value for money. The item arrived in the box damaged.On further inspection some items were also missingAmazon told me to disregard it and gave me a refund.

This is a Christmas Gift, I am rating based on the Youtube videos I have watched and little conversations I have had with my grandson about how incredible it would be to do these little experiments. He was pretty excited. I am especially impressed about the fact that Thames & Kosmos let you know what age of child would be most interested in what particular product they are selling.
Got this as a gift for my nephew and he absolutely loved it. For the price, it kept him busy for hours. Its nicely made and for a kid who loves taking things apart and putting things together, this hit the bullseye. Would buy this company’s products again.

Habe das Set meiner kleinen Schwester zum Geburtstag geschenkt. Gerade das beiliegende Heftchen ist schön gestaltet und leitet auf vielfältige Weise zum Thema Genetik hin.Es könnte mehr Praxis beinhalten bzw. “echte Experimente”. Wir haben es aber richtig gerne verwendet. Der Tomatenversuch über den hier viel diskutiert wurde hat im Übrigen gut funktioniert.
