Spacious toolbox
Very sturdy toolbox that you can tell will last probably longer than I will !!, it’s spacious & the base section has a good amount of space, the only criticism I have is that the 2 top layers slide back like drawers instead of levering upwards and backwards like my other large toolboxes, this means you have to be slightly more careful with what you put in them so as to not have the top drawers catching on whatever you have in the middle or bottom sections….if this isn’t a problem for you then I highly recommend !!
Great box, same price as other stores who could not get one to me
Lovely box, very sturdy, bought for a work project, I like it so much that I bought another one to start a home soldering kit. The size is great and it feels robust
Ideal home toolbox
Bought this to replace a cheap Wilkinsons toolbox that had given up the ghost after two decades of service. It’s a fantastic toolbox for any home DIYer, as it comfortably holds all the most common manual tools and a few accessories – hammer, wrenches, Stanley knife, screwdrivers, bit sets, 3 boxes of screws, wall plugs, glue, small hacksaw, etc, with separate toolboxes only needed for powered saws and drills, or if there are larger saws for bigger jobs. What I like most is when opening it up fully, everything is immediately accessible – no drawer openings covering lower drawers, no lift out trays that someone can walk off with, and no thin plastic outer boxes to hold screws that easily snap off and become useless.
Sturdy toolbox with plenty of room
This toolbox replaced another old Stanley one that had lasted for many years. It is very sturdy and will probably last for ever. It holds loads of hand-tools and the slide out trays are useful. However, I hadn’t realised that the opened-out toolbox would need quite as much floor-space. It’s obvious with hindsight, but the “Fatmax” wide lid needs twice the width to open out in order to pull out the trays. This makes the toolbox less suited to cramped locations. Despite this, I’m very pleased and will continue to the toolbox daily.
Organise Like a Pro: Stanley Fatmax Canti Lever Tool Box
Stanley has truly outdone themselves with the Fatmax FMST1-71219 Canti Lever Tool Box. As someone who demands durability, functionality, and convenience from their toolbox, this product ticks all the boxes and then some.Let’s start with the design. The canti lever feature is a game-changer, providing easy access to all my tools without rummaging through layers of clutter. Plus, the sturdy build ensures that even when fully loaded, this toolbox can handle the weight without any issues.Speaking of capacity, I’m amazed at how much this toolbox can hold. From power tools to small parts and accessories, there’s a designated spot for everything, helping me stay organized and efficient on the job.Durability is paramount when it comes to tool storage, and the Fatmax FMST1-71219 doesn’t disappoint. The rugged construction and heavy-duty latches give me peace of mind knowing that my tools are well-protected, whether I’m on the worksite or in transit. But what truly sets this toolbox apart is the attention to detail. The removable dividers and organisers make it easy to customise the interior layout to suit my specific needs, while the comfortable handle ensures hassle-free transportation. In conclusion, if you’re in the market for a toolbox that combines rugged durability, ample storage, and convenient access, look no further than the Stanley Fatmax FMST1-71219 Canti Lever Tool Box. It’s a five-star product that exceeds expectations in every way.
Brilliant
Fantastic product. Very good quality and value for money.
Chunky, solid toolbox
This is a real heavy duty item with a thick handle and oversized latches. You can load up the main compartment with dense metal tooling up to however uncomfortably heavy you want to make it and it will not complain. The two sliding compartments allow for decent organisation of smaller/flatter items but it is a pity that they wren’t each made a couple of cm higher as the vertical dimension here is unforgiving – a few mm too high in the lower compartment, for example, and the compartment simply will not slide to close (slightly more leeway in the upper compartment but not much as the body is solid and the latches won’t close if you push the limit).Overall though, just a really solid toolbox you can chuck around and take anywhere.
Good strong toolkit but like anything will eventually break
This is the best toolkit box I’ve ever had but eventually the sliding mechanism of the top two trays did break but I still bought another one of the same type because it had lasted many years but when that one arrived it was already broken so I sent it back and got another one almost immediately which now is in full use and I still think it’s a very good toolkit box
Me l aspettavo leggermente più grande.
