As expected, easy to use
This was as expected. Easy subscription to apply, instructions simple and good price. Bought a few of these as part of Xmas presents alongside Nintendo switches.
Fast and convenient
Code was sent super fast digitally and got it all set up/redeemed in a matter of minutes. Much more convenient than going out and buying it at a physical store.
Great for gamers
I bought this for my son to use with his Nintendo switch. Good value and loads of online games for him to play. The only downside is you can’t save game data from the switch onto nintendos cloud storage, which was the main reason for buying. But still great
Quick Guide
Just wanted to do a quick quide as many people seem to have issues using these codes.Firstly they do work on the Switch Lite even if that’s your only console, you don’t need a full Switch console to use them as one reviewer thought – I have only ever had the Lite and have just redeemed the code with no issues.Secondly, to actually find the code after purchase, use the Amazon website rather than the App. There are two methods :1: Go to your order history, click Order Details for the relevant order then click Go To Your Games Library2. Go to Your Games And Software Library under AccountBoth the above methods will take you to a page which shows the code, if you want to enter it manually on your Switch, and also has a Redeem From Nintendo.Com button. Clicking there will ask you to sign into your Nintendo account and then it will automatically redeem the code without you having to enter it. The button you use to confirm the redemption on the Nintendo site is rather misleadingly labelled Purchase but I can confirm it does redeem the code rather than charging you again.
It’s XBOX Live, but super cheap.
When Nintendo initially announced the Switch Online membership, I wasn’t particularly happy. All online play had before been free, as it had been on every other console too, but I suppose subscriptions are the future. It was bound to be really overpriced, but it was actually not too bad. £20 for a year of Switch Online is nothing compared to £120 of XBOX Game Pass. It gives you all online features, some featured games for free for periods of time, extra smash DLCs, save backups, and access to the mobile app. It’s a great online service that does what it needs to do for super cheap. Would be five stars if Pokémon online save backups were possible.

Not really a lot you can say here; it’s an online subscription! Granted, it gives you access to some fantastic deals that aren’t available without.Whilst an online subscription isn’t required to purchase any content from the eShop (at least that I’m aware of), a subscription IS required to use any online services of ANY game that has them.Thirdly, it gives you access to free SNES and NES apps; whilst the selection of games are somewhat limited in comparison to the Library of each of the respective system’s games, they are both being constantly added to by Nintendo, and are definitely worth a look at.In summation, I would personally recommend taking the week free trial of the online subscription that Nintendo offer in the eShop BEFORE purchasing this (a LOT of people seem to miss this before they commit!), but if the use of an online subscription is for you, this is the best value for money for a single account (If you believe a multiple account subscription would be better for you, a family service is offered in the eShop).Guess there was a touch more to say than I thought!
