Stronger and better looking than plastic alternatives
More expensive than most of the plastic alternatives, and you lose a bit of internal volume due to the thickness of the wood, but these blend in so much nicer against wood flooring and furniture, and so far are much better at resisting being stomped on by little kids.The lids are not a particularly tight fit, so will lift if you have a bulging mess of cables applying pressure from inside. I imagine that this could be improved by adding a thin layer of silicone, or some magnetic catches, or by making the effort to ‘train’ the cables into a tidier arrangement that fits properly in the first place.

They are well built. Good sizes to be able to change awkward plugs over. The fixtures are a brilliant addition and most importantly cat proof …

Poor quality
Broken on arrival and very poor build quality. Just touching it causes parts to snap off.

I’m going to list some complaints, but overall very pleased with the product. It’s no go-to for power boxes in publicly visible areas. I have four sets. Areas of potential concern:1) Dark brown was not very dark at all. Only slightly darker than the light brown.2) There are no uniform color options so there’s no way to get one that “fades” into the furniture even if you can match the color. That makes it more conspicuous than is preferable, in some cases.3) There’s no child safety, if that is a concern for you. I use them on shelves and desks, but they’re not appropriate for the floor if you have young children.4) The large is almost perfectly sized (could be a bit taller), but the small is a bit too small to be useful for much. But maybe there is a use for other people that I just don’t have. [UPDATE: There are some pretty decent smaller power supplies and surge protectors out there that fit comfortably into the smaller one. Most of the little square shaped ones, as well as cube ones.]
