Great gear for the price.
Bought this to get a more stable connection for gaming on ps5 in a room upstairs that was weak in WiFi. Setup took a little bit of patience but worked first time. Console connected via the Ethernet port with the extender in the room, excellent connection and speeds to the spare room are similar to devices hardwired to the main router. The device is rather wide with the antenna being on the sides and you may have to rearrange your plugs if using an extension.

Worst product I have ever brought. I have had this atleast 6 months any every single time I go to use my pc it don’t work. I have it in the room next to my router connected to it wireless then an Ethernet from it to my pc, I’ve tried every setting even the advanced ones, I’ve tried resetting it countless times, moving it to different places and simply turning it off and on it usually connect back up quickly but without a doubt not to long after it will disconnect, now the light doesn’t even go red when it’s disconnected. Waste of money.
Good so far but use their app?
In my hands, better results when using their app to set it up. Tried the WPS method but that didn’t allow signal to reach the garage which is what the extender was bought for.Now does the job as hoped for and so far (a few weeks in) has been reliable.
Great Item – So Glad I bought it!
Took a few times to set up but once up and running it’s amazing. Has helped with the the area of the home with no internet coverage. As we live in a bungalow the house stretches out and the front bedroom had no network coverage. WIFI is fast and has made such a difference. Don’t hesitate to purchase this produce to help with WIFI dead spots.

Returning as soon as replacement arrives
So I bought this because of the “easy mesh” functionality which somehow I managed to couple with my hyperoptic router.However, the WiFi connection would drop every 30 seconds. It seems like it is a known bug as the FAQ mentions it and advises to create a different SSID for the extended network.That’s bad and already not according to the advertised specs but hey I thought to myself that I could live with it. My London flat isn’t that big; this extender could be my main WiFi provider since the speed and ping aren’t that bad (hence 2 stars rather than none)But no, after a week of use, my phone fails to connect once out of 2 times which renders this extender completely useless.And one last criticism, the design of the plug means that when it is plugged on an extension, it takes at least 2 slots…
Good speed but drops connection easily
Decent speed and reasonable connection strength, however walking passed this extender can cause it to drop connection.I’ve got this placed in-between by router (downstairs) and my laptop (back room upstairs), in a normal plug socket on my landing, so walking passed it can’t be avoided.Causes my work VPN to drop constantly throughout a day, which is a real pain.Will look for a better alternative.
Worked great for a week but speeds have dropped drastically at any range. Works to keep devices connected but not much after that.
