This is a fast and handy drive. It works with my laptop and holds more files than my computer does. I have it connected to my USB-3 and it is fast. I can watch movies with no lag.This works so well I am considering buy another one. However, I have not come close to filling this one yet so I do not need a second one at this time.
Just received this – very quick delivery. Connected to ThinkPad i7 and transferred almost a TB in about 30 min, which is amazing.Then, minutes later… every subsequent transfer now crawling. Telling me, for example, that 50 GB will take 3 – 9 hrs! Same port, same drives.Essentially it would be faster to upload the folder onto a cloud service.Whether this is the fault of the machine, the network, or something at the ISP… who knows. But maybe it’s time to install Kaspersky. I want to note [again], never on Apple machines [NEVER] such issues. External drives were fast and worked fast.UPDATE: speed significantly faster once network secured with Kaspersky.
