Fantastic Hard Drive
A great little hard drive, small with very quick read and write speeds, I’m getting around 940mbs on read and write, a little expensive but it does work, I suppose you do get what you pay for sometimes, very pleased
Perfect for 4K Videographers
Needed ssd’s that could handle a lot of 4K video footage and then playback effortlessly when editing … this piece of equipment does exactly that. It’s fast, very fast. I have 4 x 4tb … all totally reliable.
Excellent Product
Great quality product at a great price. Fast secure delivery. I would say there is a lack of instruction on set up but my Mac seemed to know what to do rather than me!
Failed after 2 months
Worked well until it failed after 2 months. Struggled to boot up a couple times so I had time to back up before it inevitably completely died.The returns policy with Seagate is very poor. You have to send faulty item back before they will honour warranty. And if your mail delivery screws up and doesn’t deliver it to them in 30 Days you get nothing and they void the agreement. In short, you’re screwed.
Whether the external drive is compatible with the computer you have
It is to be used to backup my computer. Unfortunately the wire supplied to fit into my computer from the hard drive wasn’t the right size. This may be my fault as I had a new hard drive installed into the computer several years ago. I had to contact Apple and I now have a new wire which has a USB connection on one end for the computer.
I want more of them
Too expensive. It’s the best I ever owned: fastest, smallest, rugged – definitely durable – wouldn’t allow to drop it though not even for testing.. – recovery promise is also encouraging – hope to never need one. Would definitely buy again, in fact I am keep looking at the prices when will drop again, as definitely will buy one or even two more – maybe bigger than 1 TB.
Saves so much time on location
When you’ve shot a TB of data in a day and want to get home then this drive is brilliant. Transfers 100GB in about 5 minutes. Has been reliable and works with Mac encryption.
Super speedy
Bought to import nearly 200GB 4K video into for FCPRO X edit. Comes with USB C cable. Upgraded to Anker Thunderbolt 3 cable. Judging by the speed so far I reckon it’s going to take about an hour to import the lot. Massive improvement on my existing portable hard drives.
Dysk trafił do mnie w nienaruszonym opakowaniu ( zaklejone pudełko ) Po podłączeniu go do świeżo zakupionego laptopa wyposażonego w port Thunderbolt 4, dysk nie “zgłosił się” i nie był widziany w managerze dysków ( Win 11 pro ). Sprawdziłem ten dysk na innym urządzeniu jaki posiadam czyli Microsoft Surface Pro 9, który posiada 2 porty Thunderbolt 4. W żadnym z tych portów dysk również nie działał.Sprawdziłem zatem podłączając dysk za pomocą zwykłego kabla USB-C do obydwu laptopów. Za każdym razem otrzymywałem komunikat ” Żądanie nie powiodło się z powodu krytycznego błędu sprzętowego urządzenia”Cała ta sytuacja jest kompromitująca f-mę LaCie, która wypuszcza “w świat” produkt niesprawny. Jest to druga wpadka tego producenta bo w domu posiadam inny dysk zewnętrzny, który jest nie do końca sprawny. Sprzedawca czy Amazon.pl zachował się wzorowo i natychmiast zwrócił pieniądze po odesłaniu przeze mnie dysku.

Hem Mac hem de Acer da ThunderBolt port üzerinde, kendi orijinal kablosuyla 800-1050MB/s alabiliyorum. Adobe için scratch-disk olarak ve foto/video editlemek için süper. Bilgisayarın disk ömründen yemek yerine bunu kullanmak daha iyi. Özellikle Mac kullanıcılarının SSD ana karta lehimli olduğu için, TBW değerinden yememek ve laptop’ınızı çöpe atmamak için, LaCie’yi öneririm. Sürati ve sağlamlığı efsanevi.
自分のパソコン同士でデータを移す時に使っていて、速度が速いので満足している。パソコンがMacなのでMac用に設定する場合は速度が速いのですが、Windowsでも使用できるようにすると本来の速度を速く保てないのが難点。それともう少し安くなるといい。
