Worked as expected
Opened laptop. Plugged this SODIMM in to the spare slot (had checked I had one before ordering). Turned on laptop. Now have 16GB RAM instead of 8. Simple as that, just plug and go.

Great product for price ordered from amazon in morning and arrived by 20.00hrs same evening. Slotted straight into my HP laptop and has supper charged the old machine.P.S installing in the HP laptop requires taking the bottom of the laptop off and there are hidden screws under two rubber strips that require peeling off to access.
