Good low cost alternative to the apple tags.
Very pleased how well these tags perform. Easy to set up and added them to clear plastic luggage tags on a recent cruise. These them to find a bag that was hidden in the luggage hall and not easy to spot eyes only. Nice that they come with extra batteries and are easy to pair and switch on and off when not in constant use. (ie on holiday) This is an advantage over air tags are they are permanently on.

Just what I wanted for when I travel abroad. It pairs with my iPhoneI struggled pairing it to my iPhone as I’m not great with these things. Their IT customer service number is via WhatsApp.Excellent service. They messaged me back straight away explaining step by step with where I was struggling. Within a few minutes I was connected!Definitely recommend this product if you looking for a tracker.Thank you!
Fuss-free Apple-only tracker from HH-Tech
With a convenient hole for attaching to a keyring, inside the HH-Tech Smart Tag LITE’s box is a spludger tool, slim fabric lanyard, instruction leaflet, contact card and welcome extra CR2032 battery. I was a bit too heavy handed with the spludger when opening the case to peek inside, causing the circuit board to separate from the interior. Thankfully it stayed in position after being reseated thanks to stretchy white adhesive tape on the board’s underside. Pressing the function button on the front of the tracker’s body combined with audible beeping allows easy power on/off and resetting back to factory mode.My eyes found the instructions hard to read in places due to the size of text used but ease of setup and functionality are all ok. After adding the tracker as Other Item in Apple’s Find My app it took just a few short seconds to be identified as ‘HHTag02’ and paired, being fully able to leverage the Find My network and utilise all the app’s features once done. While the internal speaker is reasonably loud in quieter environments when in close proximity, like so many rivals that also lack Ultra Wide Band location technology, imho the Smart Tag LITE has no particular qualities elevating it above Apple’s AirTag. But as a less expensive alternative however, it does its job well and without fuss.Pros:• Contains an opening tool and lanyard• Easy to use function button• Clear audible speaker• Includes spare lithium batteryCons:• Plain appearance• No protective seal(s) against water penetration• Slightly tricky to open even with spludger• No UWB chip utilising directional compass homing for easier finding when lost

Disappointed
Aimed at the air tag market, though much cheaper! The housing is plastic and easily opened. Not weather proof at all, and can easily split open when keys (for example) are thrown about. Easily paired with an iCloud account and works with “find my” app on iOS. I have noticed that it only works as a “last known location” tracker. For me, I couldn’t get it to track when away from my iPhone, despite allegedly being Apple approved. Real air tags can use other Apple devices to update its location, which this doesn’t seem to do. So if you forget where you put things, this should help, but it won’t protect items from theft etc.
I had one of these, it would drop connectivity and need to be re-synced Daily. Spend the extra $ and get an apple air tag. I have 3 all work great.
I use another big brand product like this already (not the Apple brand), and I honestly would be lost (ha ha!) without it. This is a perfectly adequate substitution, although I feel like the other app is much stronger than this one. Definitely a cheaper alternative. I will use this when travelling for my luggage and not for everyday use.
I’m currently using this on a set of keys and have it liked to my iOS “Find My” app. It’s pretty cool how I can find the keys if I ever misplace them. I look forward to clipping it to my luggage when I travel. I hope my luggage doesn’t get lost, but it’ll be cool to be able to know where it went if that happens.
The luggage tag I got for my bag has a space for an air tag, and then I came across this bad boy.I haven’t gotten a chance to use it yet for travel, but I like that it works with the Find My app, since I have an Apple phone. it seems to be the same size as an air tag, so it should have no problem fitting into the air tag slots in my items.This can also be used to help you keep track of other items besides luggage like purses, wallets… people *ahem*. I’m kidding, I’m not condoning that. Alls I’m saying is, this smart tag from HH-Tech has a lot of uses if you put your mind to it.
This smart tag is a nice small little tag and works really well for what it is. It loads very quickly and easily into the Find My system and is an effective location device. Keep in mind that these do not contain the W one or W-2 chips so you can’t actually do how close you are to it such as called precision location. Since it’s Bluetooth range if you’re in the same house with the item, you won’t be able to locate it using pinpoint accuracy because it’ll just tell you it’s with you. But you can hit a button to play sound and you can follow the sound around the house till you find it. For things that require precision location you would want to get one that actually has those features. But for the money, this was cheap enough to throw on my key ring for when I drop them down and forget where I put them.
