Reassuringly Weighty, Robust Construction, Clamping Range WAY Under Specification
First of all I, consider this to be a great clamp; but the claims made in the pictures and listing regarding clamping width are completely off:”Designed for quick clamping onto round, square, and irregular rails/rods with outer diameters ranging from 0.78 to 1.97 inches(20MM-50MM)”I’ve also attached a screenshot of their dimensional image next to my actual measurements.No part of the clamp is capable of opening up to 50mm; the largest gap it can possibly accommodate is ~37mm, and that would be a flat bar rather than a tube. I’d estimate the maximum tube diameter this can accommodate at more like ~33mm.I’m guessing the reviewers giving this full marks (particularly the ones quoting the claimed clamping range verbatim) didn’t actually bother to check this.It’s a real shame because this is actually a brilliant clamp worthy of five stars. The plastics are extremely tough and thick; while the steel parts increase the feeling of solidity and longevity. Nicely moulded rubber pads are inset within the jaws, protecting the clamped object and providing extra grip for less clamping force.The ball is very slightly undersized at ~24.8mm but well within the tolerances of the RAM-style mounting system. It is over-moulded with rubber and while there is a minor (easily removed) injection artefact, the seams are minimal.Overall it just feels like a quality product; but makes claims that don’t match up with what was received.
Good clamp seems strong… will check to see how long it lasts
I always like using this style of clamp when doing any moto vlogging or want to mount my cameras out of the way.Most have a very good design but the thing that lets them down is the screw that comes through the middle, very often it treads when using it on the same bar or place time after time, this then rendered it useless.This however looks like a really good quality on, with the screw tread being a dual sided thread. The clamp seems strong… I will use it some more and check to see how long it lasts. Will update this review after a short time of using.
Very strong build quality and grip on my bikes handlebars. Well engineered.
Good to find a decent product with it’s heavy duty build quality and rigid design makes it able to grip very tightly onto my handlebars with it supporting my phone in a cradle.There isn’t a security lock, so anyone could unscrew it if you left it on your bike, it only takes seconds to remove and refit so can be taken with you in your bag.I have a 90mm arm attached to the 1″ ball and then a phone holder. So far it has stayed very secure on my handlebar after all the bumps in the road it hasn’t moved.Pre-shaped rubber pad on the inside of the arms give it a good grip when tightened, doesn’t need excess pressure to grip well, so less stress and longer lasting hopefully.Haven’t heard of this brand before but it’s better than any other clamp i’ve tried by a long way. Looks and feels over engineered which is nice especially for the price.
Solid clamp, true B size ball, holds steady
Picked this up to use with my RAM mounts and it fits spot on. The clamp grabs tight on my bike handlebar (about 30mm) and hasn’t slipped even on rough roads. I like that it can go on odd shaped bars too, makes it more useful then the standard round only mounts.The 1 inch ball is proper B size so works with all my RAM bits, no play or looseness. Metal feels solid, not cheap alloy, and the screws bite down firm.Only downside is you need to use the supplied allen key to get it tight, so not as quick on/off as some mounts. But once it’s on, it’s staying put.
Solid, well-built clamp mount
⚙️ The clamp mount arrives as a single unit with a claw body measuring 88 mm in length and a 1-inch ball head. It is compatible with double socket arms and works with mounting systems for phones, tablets, cameras, and other devices, provided they use the same ball size. The clamping range when fixing to a pole or handle bar is 20–50 mm, suitable for round, square, and irregular-shaped bars or rails. Rubber pads line the grip surfaces to help secure the mount and protect the contact points.⚙️ Installation is straightforward and does not require tools, although the speed of fitting will depend on where and how it is being mounted. Once tightened, the grip holds firmly, and I have not experienced loosening during use. The clamping mechanism is reinforced with metal pins and threaded metal bars within the plastic housing, which gives it a solid and secure feel. The plastic appears to be high density, and the rubber grips have a patterned surface that, in my view, aids traction and could help water drain away if installation is outdoors.⚙️ The ball head is plastic without a grip pattern, with a mould line and sprue mark visible. I will need more time to see how it holds position over long-term use. For lighter devices such as a phone or action camera, it feels suitably strong. However, the post connecting the ball to the clamp is thinner than the rest of the body, so I would avoid using it for heavier equipment like a DSLR or tablet if the mount is subject to movement. For static applications, I see no reason it would not cope.⚙️ In use, I have not seen any marking or damage to the mounting surface, and the mount is compact enough not to interfere with surrounding controls. It has remained stable without wobble on vibration-prone equipment. While the price is higher than some similar items, the construction and materials appear to justify the cost. ✔️

You will love this mount! It is really solidly built! It installs quickly and easily. It is designed to fit almost any size of handlebar, in any position. It tightens snugly so there are no worries of vibrations loosening the clamp. Most of all, I like all of the options on installed type of mounts. I attached a phone clamp for my motorcycle with a cam-lock. Once you have adjusted the width for your phone you never have to adjust it again. Slide your phone in and pull the cam-lock to secure it. Release the lock to remove it without any change in adjustment. Very quick and easy. I’m impressed.
This does exactly what you expect: it grips onto cylindrical objects nicely with a good amount of holding force. The grip mechanism is metal-on-metal… you can see two bars embedded in the plastic. The shaft is threaded through those bars so the main contact point is a metal shaft into metal threads. As a result you can really bind this down.I have this mounted on drum hardware and it is nice and solid.
