Excellent publication on Articulate’s Storyline 2
Great reference Guide to SL 2. Key learning points are given as design tips, this feature is very good and gives very good tips on the programme. There is also an addition of Bright ideas, which I found very informative, also a caution section to warn you when making silly mistakes. There is also Power tips to help you turn up your productions a notch and get that ‘professional finish’. There is also a notes section in each paragraph, where you can write any notes or points you may need to reference again. So its kind of like a textbook and workbook combined. There is no waffle and this is an excellent reference guide, especially when you are trying to achieve something new and can’t resolve a problem online. It is very easy to read, well indexed and straight to the point, if you are learning SL 2, this this will make life easier. On the downside; (and these are very small points) some of the photos look a bit flat and other than the red covers the complete publication is in shades of grey, a little colour may not have gone astray. But I can live with that! I enjoyed reading this publication and keep it nearby for reference. I would certainly recommend the book to SL 2 Students.
Grea reference material
Having been using storyline for about 2-3 years already, self taught I found most of what is within the book I already new , there are some good additional pieces I have yet to explore. The book is easy to follow and a grea reference guide for anyone using storyline.
Life saving book!
I got this book to help me in my new job as we are changing from Lectora over to Storyline 2. Whilst we have had some training, every now and again something comes up and I just can’t remember what I need to do. The book is laid out well, with simple to follow instructions. I know Articulate has online resources, but having a book in front of you whilst working through stuff sometimes is the best way.
