I love it
I love this little book, it gives a great overview of all the mental health conditions in an easy to carry book. Its like a pocket dictionary which is great. I would recommend it to friends. The delivery was also superfast.
Useful reference tool and arrived promptly
Useful reference tool and arrived promptly. I accept the criticisms of other reviewers that the standard of print and paper may not be sufficiently good for very regular use but for my occasional use it’s fine
Essential for all Psychiatrists.
This is a must for anyone working in the Speciality. It is reasonably priced and essential to have a personal copy rather than depend on its availability in the Department.
Good product
The manual arrived earlier than anticipated. The price through this seller was considerably better than other sites. The manual was clearly new and in plastic wrap. About a dozen of the pages were folded (not dog-eared, more like the manual had been closed that way during manufacturer packaging) but this was easily remedied. I agree with other reviewers that the quality of the print is considerably lower than previous manuals, but the bottom line is that this is meant to be a functional, not aesthetic, product. I do like that ICD codes, and coding explanations, are included next to diagnostic codes. Unless one is completely unfamiliar with clinical diagnostics, I can’t imagine why one would drop $$ for the inflated cost of the full manual. This is all you need. I will follow the advice of other reviewers, however, and get this spiral-bound.
Brilliant pocket size desk reference!
Just what i wanted; pocket size desk reference!
Five Stars
Very useful for my work.

Good print…..no surprices… !
A good summary of DSM-5
A good summary of DSM-5. I wish more British doctors would read it. DSM is clearer than ICD, with better inter-rater reliability.
The book is very nice, precise, but well described. It is a very good research, I respect and congratulate the Assassination for the great work. We have. It will really be usefull for in my assistance to the sick.
Ever wonder just what the heck it is your psychiatrist is basing your diagnosis off of? This is it!If you get previous iterations like the dsm4 or dsm3, you can also learn to see how the diagnostic criteria has changed over time, and you can only imagine if not foresee the downstream consequences of such thought patterns being propagated across individuals pursuing a career in the field of psychiatry.
Es sind halt die neuen Kriterien der Amerikaner. Suchtkapitel ist ok, Spielsucht als Sucht anerkannt – ansonsten Impulsstörungen wie bisher.
This book has been referred to us for our internship at the Master’s degree level. It comes very handy during fieldwork, due to its portability. The cover and the pages are quite dull, as I believe it must have remained in stock for too long. However, it’s in a good condition with clear printing.
