Good product I started use it on my recently buyNAS Asustor
The Corsair Vengeance SODIMM 16GB (2x8GB) DDR4 3200MHz CL22 memory kit is designed primarily for laptops and compact systems, but it also offers reliable compatibility with many NAS (Network Attached Storage) platforms that support DDR4 SODIMM modules.Performance & ReliabilityWith a frequency of 3200MHz and CL22 latency, this memory strikes a balance between speed and efficiency for multitasking, file transfers, and virtualization workloads commonly found in NAS environments. While its latency is modest compared to high-performance desktop modules, stability is prioritized — an essential factor for continuous 24/7 NAS operation.NAS CompatibilityMany modern NAS units from brands like Synology, QNAP, and ASUSTOR support DDR4 SODIMM upgrades, and Corsair’s modules are widely recognized for their compatibility and dependable performance. In real-world use, upgrading NAS memory with this kit can enhance:• File indexing & caching performance (faster access to shared libraries).• Smooth virtualization performance (for users running Docker containers or VMs on their NAS).• Better multitasking when running multiple apps and services simultaneously (media servers, surveillance apps, etc.).It should be noted that some NAS devices may downclock the memory to their maximum supported frequency (e.g., 2400MHz or 2666MHz). Even in these cases, stability remains excellent, and the upgrade provides a noticeable performance uplift compared to factory-installed modules.Build Quality & SupportCorsair’s Vengeance line has a strong reputation for durability and consistent performance. The modules are built with high-quality ICs and undergo strict validation testing, ensuring they can handle demanding, always-on NAS workloads. Corsair also provides a limited lifetime warranty, which is reassuring for long-term deployments.Pros• Reliable upgrade for NAS systems supporting DDR4 SODIMM.• High capacity (16GB kit) supports heavier NAS workloads.• Strong brand reputation and lifetime warranty.• Improves virtualization, caching, and multitasking performance.Cons• CL22 latency is higher than performance-focused modules.• NAS devices may run at lower supported speeds than 3200MHz.• Not ECC memory (some enterprise-grade NAS may prefer ECC).⸻VerdictThe Corsair Vengeance SODIMM 16GB (2x8GB) DDR4 3200MHz CL22 kit is a dependable and effective memory upgrade for laptops and NAS systems alike. For NAS users looking to boost performance for virtualization, media streaming, or multi-service workloads, this kit provides excellent stability, solid speed, and the peace of mind of Corsair’s lifetime warranty. It’s not ECC-certified, so enterprise users may prefer ECC modules, but for home and small business NAS setups, this is a cost-effective, high-quality choice.
An Investment in Your Time, Not Just an Expense!
I bought these RAM modules for my laptop with an Intel i7 10th gen processor. The RAM supports speeds up to 3200 MHz, but with this processor, the maximum speed is around 2900 MHz—not because of any problem with the RAM, but due to the CPU’s limitations. Despite this, the upgrade from 16 GB to 32 GB has made a huge difference: now I can keep about 40 Chrome tabs, Word, Webex, WhatsApp, and a PDF reader open all at the same time without any issues. Everything feels faster and more stable. My advice: invest in RAM from a good brand, even if it’s a bit more expensive. Cheaper options may mean lower performance, so it’s worth saving up for quality. Overall, I’m very satisfied with this upgrade.
Perfect upgrade
Perfect upgrade for an older laptop. If you’ve got an older laptop or even one with 16gb or less, in this day and age I’d say this is a very good upgrade. Corsair products never disappoint and my laptop is running games perfectly. Super easy to install.
Fitted to my HP Elitedesk 800 G4 mini, no problem
Fitted to my HP Elitedesk 800 G4 mini, no problem, though it does not recognise the manufacturer. Also it know that the sodimms are 3200mhz but because the motherboard only allows it they are only running at 2666mhz., that said, from my research, that is what I expected. At least I have not found a way to overcome that yet, but im still looking for a way. They are simple to fit, but as I am an experiance computer person, with more than 30 years of tinkering and upgrading PC’s and laptops. starting with 386 processors with MSDOS 5.0 (I think, it was so long ago I for get the number) and windows 3.0 anyway it was 1991.Anyway I digress, for me they were plug and play. as my minidesk top is basicall a HP laptop without a display and keyboard/mouse, I cant see using them in a Laptop being a problem.NOTE for begineers, if you have never handled memory before.1, THESE ARE DDR4 you cant mix and match, you have to replace DDR4 with DDR4 make sure to check what is fitted to your laptop or PC before purchace.2, some older laptops need to have both memory slots filled, not just one!3, some older laptops need to have two identical sticks of memory in the memory slots,4, its not good practice to have memory sticks of diffent brands in your memory slots, its best to have them of identical specification from the same brand to prevent potencial memory glitches. even if your motherbaord does allows memory sticks of different sizes.5, put in as much memory as you can afford, this can help speed up your pc or laptop in my opinion, depending on what applications you are running.Unfortunately I can remember the days when 4 x 1 MB sticks of memory were costing as much as what I have just paid for 64GB!
Works great, got a great deal on it ($46). Cheaper than all of the local computer parts suppliers.
Memory OK but poor shipping by Amazon and local shipping agent Bring.

My basic Pc had an upgrade. It feels much faster and installation was so easy.I used the box to store the old RAM memory, but have had no issues after 2 months of use.
