In addition to networking fundamentals, the book also introduces basic concepts of major cloud platforms, including Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Amazon Web Services (AWS), and Microsoft Azure.Highly recommended for beginners and professionals alike!
As a seasoned network engineer, i can say this this book was helpful in my ongoing journey to move into cloud solutions. It’s a step by step introduction into the major several cloud solution technologies being used today. If you are thinking of a career change this is also a good intro that will leave you with a good grasp of whats being used out in the real world and how to implement and navigate the different cloud vendor solutions.
The book is a great intro and covers cloud computing, networking, and public cloud providers. The included labs are similar to cloud provider labs which prepare readers for professional certifications. The best part is that the labs and knowledge covers the large public cloud providers which make readers more versatile in the workplace as companies seek hybrid-cloud solutions.
