CONSTRUCTION
Over 50 cm long, which improves your child’s manual dexterity and engineering skills as they piece it together according to the instructions in the illustrated manual. More than 50 plastic pieces, including a motor, to be assembled to build this amazing robot snake.
2x AAA batteries required.
OBSERVATION
The Slither Bot will give your child a greater understanding of the principles of movement, learning how the cascade gear system enables fluid motion while the connecting-rod mechanism allows the snake to move forward.
INTERACTION
Once your child has assembled the snake, they can bring it to life by turning on the motor. This will activate the sideways oscillatory motion that allows the robot to continuously slither wherever it likes!
The Slither Bot’s jointed tail and head that moves in a zig-zag motion mean it can slide around smoothly and sinuously.

Simple to set up and works well
The kids enjoyed putting this together and it works well. Good value for money too.
Difficult to put together
I got this to make with my grandson. We had previously purchased the robotic snake so thought we’d try the beetle as he really enjoyed following the instructions and putting the snake together. The instructions were fairly easy to follow but getting the legs to stay on whilst trying to screw the screws in was almost impossible. The legs fell off every time. Even my husband gave up trying. So we hope once he got it back to his parents they managed to assemble it. Overall very disappointed
