Stay on track with this great 13 week planner
I really like that the planner is based on 13 weeks, as it supports shorter term goals. It should force you to plan and stay on track with all the activities that you are required to do to meet your goals. It helps you to break down all the tasks and I also like that there is room to be reflective and appreciative in any aspect of your life, as well as keeping you focused on 3 key goals. It is not the kind of planner that you want to give up on, so if you are prepared to stick with it, this is a great tool to help you achieve success.

Great journals
These Best self journals are great. I bought 3 single ones then this for the entire year. I know they are expensive but I just get more productive using it. Alreday built some great habits. Highly recommended.

Journal that keeps you accountable
I bought this journal because I was looking for something that is more than an agenda-type format. Before this Moleskine was my to-go buy, but I got fed up trying out my own compartmentalising within the empty pages. I was looking for something to help me plan my days and reflect and have space for random notes. It certainly is what I expected it to be – a well laid out format with just enough space to plan and reflect. The pages are nice to touch and are thick enough for fountain pens, gel pens and highlighters (I mainly use Muji) and there are 3 markings to keep your place in the journal. This is a feel-good journal for sure and keeps me accountable. On the downside – some sections are a bit repetitive (for instance same amount of space on daily goal and targets – not necessary for each day). There are 3 gratitude lines for morning and for evening – I struggle with the morning ones if I don’t want them to sound a bit too teenage vague. The time scale available for the day is a bit unrealistic for many adults – they go from 6am to 9pm. I certainly don’t start completing planned tasks at 6am and most days I am busy until 11pm, so for me a 9am-12am timeline would be more useful. In fact, if they reduced morning gratitude to 1 line, they could fit the 6-12 timeline. However, overall this is a very good journal and of course some people would disagree with the changes that I’d make. Everyone who likes a good journal keeping but too lazy for blank pages should try it out.

Stands the tear of time.
A must for anyone looking to think about, plan and achieve a better than average life.Used these for years and the new style provides more resources and ideas for keeping those goals and ambitions on track.Do not compare these to a ‘diary’ or average planner. They are so much more.

The best journal I’ve used
I have tried different ones and this one works best for me. I used to have a subscription but they stopped shipping to the UK so I was happy to find it here on Amazon. It is a little expensive but totally worth it.

Great journal
This is my… seventh? Best self journal to date. Love the layout and the set up, great for accountability. I do think it’s quite expensive, but similar items seem comparably priced and it has worked well for me up until now!

Very cute planner
I like the planner a lot, helps me stay organised. Is it 100% worth the money? Not sure, but I imagine it would make a really nice gift for someone cause of the way it’s packed (it comes in a nice box and the whole experience is really nice).

They are fine but bullet journals are more flexible.
Good idea, good discipline but not for me . Bullet journaling just allows things to be more personalised.

As a Hurdle Podcast fan, host Emily has shared her love for the Self Journal on a few occasions. What immediately appealed to me was the habit tracker and daily prompts (gratitude, goals, targets, “what will make today great”). I’m a few months into a new job and was looking for more tools to keep me organized and pushing forward in my goals – this journal is IT! Definitely recommend!

I love this planner/journal. If your looking for some fancy looking leather thing that makes you look important, this is not it. If you want to be effective in reaching your goals and become productive in putting a plan together to reach those goals, this the planner for you. I’ll keep it short, this is my twelfth one I’m ordering. I absolutely love it. It’s helped me to get some serious traction on reaching my goals FASTER! Spending $150 Canadian a year for a years worth of planners might seem expensive but my productivity has gone way up since I started using it. And It’s fun! And I’ve gained way more value in just a months worth of productivity than the $37 spent for a 13 week planner. There’s lots of info out there if you need to know more about layout and stuff. I am personally sold on this planner and have made it my go to format from now on. With this planner, I’ve reached significant goals and managed my priorities. I’ve had massive growth in all areas of my life including my career goals. I’m currently the General Manager at a growing aviation company and the journal has helped me on my journey toward this goal.

I love this journal! I have tried other journals in the past, including the 5 Minute Journal The Five Minute Journal: A Happier You in 5 Minutes a Day, but I like this one much better. Here’s why.PURPOSE – I bought this journal as a way to get focused on what was most important to me. I was in the middle of selling my company, and I needed to look for a new job for myself. I wanted some organization to keep me focused and avoid distractions, while still being grateful for my blessings and content with what I have.QUALITY / EXPERIENCE – The journal came in a nice (yet unnecessary) box which is great for gifting. I didn’t need it, however, and would be happy to save $2 if they didn’t include it. The journal itself is covered in a nice, matte black fabric, and the pages are thick and meaty. The first several pages explain how the journal works, how to use it, and it’s written in a very clear and inviting manner.VALUE – At $35, this journal isn’t cheap. In fact, I think it’s overpriced BUT because I got amazing results with it, I can say that it’s worth it. Will I buy it again? Probably. Will I buy it a 3rd time? Unlikely. By then, I’ll probably look at building my own system so I don’t have to shell out $35 every 13 weeks! I emailed the company asking if they had a mobile app that I could use, and they said they don’t have one developed yet. I think this could be easily created as a web/mobile app with the right prompts… not only to make it easier to use (instead of carrying a book around everywhere) but also because it’ll help us save money in the long run!EFFICACY – Very effective. I went from being lost, worried, scared, distracted, jobless… to having an amazing job in a month because this journal helped me be grateful, and stay focused on what is most important to me! This is why this product earns 5 stars.CONCLUSION – If you’re a highly productive individual, but you realize that distractions are keeping you from focusing on what’s most important, this journal is for you. It will help you deliver 10X productivity with a level of refinement, learning, and growth that no other journal I’ve tried has been able to do. You’ll love it! I just wish they had an online / app version.

This was overwhelming to start using. But after a few days, it became more intuitive and now I love it. It really helps you get organized and started focusing your thoughts/goals.My only suggestion: make the cover out of a more durable and less absorbent material. I carry this all over and it’s already started looking pretty dirty.
