Nice and cool
Excellent heatsink. Keeps my m.2 drive nice and cool. Was really easy to install and looks at home on my asus motherboard. Great price too.

Great little unexpensive SSD heatsink
Bought for WD850 SSDDefinitely compatible with WD Black 850X and WD Black SN770Very easy to fit.Thermal pad was perfect.Heat dissipation is good.

Excellent Cooler
Excellent cooler. Significantly reduced the temperature of my SSD. Definitely worth it if you are concerned about high temps damaging or throttling your SSD

Well worth it
Bought this because my SSD was running hotter than a car dashboard in July. Fitted this heatsink and temps immediately dropped by around fifteen degrees. Installation was quick, no fiddly screws or swearing involved, which makes a refreshing change. The finish is sleek and it actually looks decent on the board… not that you see much once the case is closed, but still. It gives off that satisfying ‘I know what I’m doing’ vibe, even if you do not. Keeps things stable when the drive is being pushed hard, especially during large game installs or big file transfers.Hard to say much more than it does exactly what you want it to do, and quietly at that. No noise, no RGB nonsense, just simple and effective cooling. Worth every penny if your SSD is usually hot enough to replace your George Foreman.

Reduced my SSD temperature by 21 degrees
I used Crystal Disk Info to check on my SSDs and was alarmed that my main Gen 4 NVMe drive was at 66 degrees, this led to me moving my graphics card into a new slot and switching my sound card and VR wireless card slots. This reduced the temp to 61 degrees so I ordered this heat sink and the temperature was 40 degrees after a hefty gaming session.Very pleased.

Awesome product.
I was noticing my SSD temperatures were higher than I wanted. Even at idle I was seeing temps in the mid 50C range on the stock MB coolers. I saw an online review of these and they have made a great difference. At idle, temps are now in the high 20C range, with peaks of high 30s. Well worth it for me for longevity.

Cheap and Effective
Two arrived today and installed on my k8 nucbox. Gen4 nvme went from 70+ degrees to 35-40c and the same for the Gen 3 nvme inside as well. I had some doubts about these as the two NVME drives are side by side and chose these as they were fanless and lock together with small screws. Needless to say I am well impressed with the thermal capacity of these heatsinks. Remember to peel the protective film off them and the notch goes to the screw side of the drive.

Better quality than other cheap heatsinks
What a nice product. Easy to follow instructions and screwdriver that works for full installation process in a PS5 provided. My Crucial SSD fit perfectly in this, which had no issues fitting in PS5 (and you can replace the PS5 SSD cover on top should you wish to).The screws to secure the heatsink are tiny, but work in a bright environment, and magnetised to provided screwdriver, and you should have no issues. I like that they are packaged in a compartment behind tape, it’s little touches like this that make sure nothing goes missing.Drive works OK with no overheating, though I’d expect it to anyway – however other reviews here shows it is effective in keeping temps down. For a similar price to many cheaper products, provided with rubber bands and the like, this is way better and still provided at a good price. Highly recommended.

I used it on my PS5 without any problems.

Ininstalled this be quiet heatsink to 1 of my ssd cards which didn’t have a heatsink and it’s doing the job. The temp dropped 4 degrees while on idle after installing the heatsink which was very easy to install.

I recently purchased a new Samsung SSD and I also needed a reliable Cooler. I decided to complete my setup with the be quiet! MC1 SSD Cooler, a product designed to tackle the heating issues of M.2 2280 single and double-sided modules. The brand promises not only enhanced performance but also a seamless integration into any PC build, courtesy of its minimalist design and renowned be quiet efficiency.Upon receiving the package, the first thing that struck me was the attention to detail in the packaging. The cooler was securely encased, with clear instructions ( Even if instructions are really not necessary as there’s only one way to mount it and you cannot do it wrong even if you try 😀 ) and all necessary mounting hardware included. The sleek, black design of the cooler itself exuded a premium feel, matching perfectly with my PC’s aesthetics. It was love at first sight! So installing the MC1 cooler was a breeze. The build quality was impressive, featuring a solid aluminum heat sink and thermal pads that promised efficient heat dissipation. In terms of performance, the MC1 cooler did not disappoint. I primarily use my setup for gaming and video editing and AI image generations/upsizing etc. , activities that can cause significant SSD heating. Prior to installation, I’d noticed my SSD’s performance dipping during extended sessions, likely due to thermal throttling. However, with the MC1 cooler in place, those issues became a thing of the past. My SSD’s temperatures dropped significantly, ensuring stable performance even under heavy load. The difference was like night and day, with faster load times and no more fear of data loss or damage due to overheating.Despite all, it’s worth noting that its size may pose compatibility issues in tighter builds or when adjacent slots are in use.The peace of mind knowing my SSD is running cool, coupled with the tangible performance improvements, has been a major win.In conclusion, the be quiet! MC1 SSD Cooler has matched my expectations. Its build quality, performance enhancement, and sleek design make it a standout product. While there are minor considerations to keep in mind regarding compatibility and installation, the pros far outweigh the cons. For anyone looking to extend the lifespan of their M.2 SSD and ensure peak performance, I wholeheartedly recommend the MC1 cooler. It’s a small investment that delivers significant returns, making it a must-have for any serious PC enthusiast or professional user.
