Cheapest, QHD, IPS, 75hz wonderful for coding. Not tested image/video though.
AOC Q24V4EAIt is the cheapest monitor (112gbp) that I had found with QHD, IPS and a better refresh than 60hz.I bought a couple of them and put them in vertical orientation for coding. I have found the 24inch perfect for that, since a 27 or 28 inch would be too tall for me to see the menu at the top.- The stand it is really poor. Of course, vertical orientation is not included- The integrated speakers are really badI have connected it through a Ugreen USB-C Revodock Pro 106 on the HDMI output to my MacBook Pro M2 without any flickering at QHD 75hz.I could not comment regarding colour accuracy since I use it for text only.
Overall pretty good and light
It is much better than my previous 24in 2560×1440 “Prechen”, and pretty much as good as the equivalent Dell model I use at work which is however quite expensive. It is light which I wanted as I often take it with me when travelling, and it has a standard mount screw-holes so I can use a nice foldable adjustable monitor stand. Visual quality is high with good colors, a bright and uniform backlight, a full IPS screen with wide viewing angles and fairly reliable firmware (where many are buggy when handling autoconfiguration etc.). The one negative point is that like all cheap and many expensive models it has black captions on black background (embossed in the black plastic) for the buttons and cable sockets. I have just used sticky tape to recaption. I also wish it were possible to buy computer stuff that were not black but beige or grey.
Fantastic image and lovely large display area. The price was just perfect at the time as well. A+
Purchased for my work laptop at home as my old one gave up the ghost. Fantastic image and lovely large display area. The price was just perfect at the time as well. A+
DOES NOT HAVE USB C PORTS EVEN IF YOU ORDER THE OPTION WITH THEM.
Unfortunatel conectivity not as described this does not have USB C ports. Ordered with the speaker / usb c box checked recieved just a standard HDMI model. Build quality looks ok but never used returned and ordered another brand which was slightly more expensive.
Good value
Bought this for my daughter as a light gaming/school work monitor and so far a month in am very happy with it. It’s not the brightest screen in the world but for 160euro it’s grand. I’m deducting one star for the very short power cable that comes with it. I have the monitor mounted on a Vivo monitor arm and after you route the cable along the center column the power pack was extremely difficult to attach under the desk. It barely made it the underside. Also the menus are not very intuitive to us and can be annoying and finicky. But all in all am quite satisfied with this purchase.
Billiant Monitor
Brilliant Monitor, easy to install and so pleased to replace my previous AOC Monitor which has served me well me past 20 years or so.
Fantastic value
A very bright and sharp screen. The colours are good too. Bought to connect to my QHD gaming laptop and it works perfectly. For the money you can’t go wrong 👍
Great for portrait view
Used this as a portrait view side monitor. The DPI is high enough so you don’t see the usual “chromatic aberration” mess around pixels when you rotate the text 90 degrees. The monitor is crips and the resolution and DPI are perfect to read it very well also with 100% window zoom. Being a 1440p you can split the screen in vertical in 3 parts with Power Toys and can still see 3 different windows. It is also bright and can be used during the day with no problems because it’s slightly matte.
J’utilise cet écran depuis plusieurs mois essentiellement pour du montage vidéo et un peu pour du jeu de simulation (train simulator). J’en suis très satisfait et espère qu’il sera durable.
Display is great for work.Colors are good, pixel density is good (IMO PPI > 100 is good enough for anything), sound with built-in speakers is fine for calls, stand isn’t great because height isn’t adjustable but you should know it before purchase. With one specific vertical angle picture becomes pale like TN or something, BUT this angle is really sharp, like 15 or so between the line of sight and surface of the screen. Nobody watches at display with angle like this, so this can’t bother anybody.
Image with good quality
Using for graphic projects as a second monitor and looks great, colors are accurate(at this monitors league, not comparing to apple display or something high end), screen is clear, just perfect for pretty much anything.
Ecran qui ne marche pas du tout en double écran, il se fige et fait buger l’ordinateur, le sav est 0, il non pas voulu me rembourser, alors que le problème est connu, la preuve dans les avis
