A:Super easy to install. In just 2 steps, you can add or relocate a wireless switch for your house within 5 minutes.
1.Install the receiver between the lamp to be controlled and the power supply.
2.The wireless switch can be placed where it matters, The remote control carried with you.
Q:If the switch is on and there is a power cut, will the switch still be on when power is restored?If not can the default action be changed?
A:The default setting is off, so the switch will not stay on. This can prevent the sudden increase in voltage and current when the power supply is restored from damaging the lamp.
Q:Will it cause signal interference if multiple wireless switches are installed in the home?
A:No. The signal between the paired switch and the receiver is independent and encrypted. Will not cause interference.

Suprised at the negative feedback
Purchased this to operate an over bathroom cabinet light whilst having the bathroom renovated.I did not want to damage the walls on the landing chasing for cable to operate the switch.I wired this to a test light and plug to check functionality before fitting and it is so easy to set up.Follow the instructions to pair with the battery operated wall switch, just hold the reset button for 5 seconds until the red light flashes and the light turns on, then press the wall switch and the light turns off.Then press the reset button to turn the light on, hold the reset button for 5 seconds press the wall light switch and it lamp turns off. All done. Range looks good, it worked at about 20mtrs.Alexa integration was simple also, download the “Smart Life” app, register your email and confirm. You will need to enter your wifi password. Then in the app search for switches and register your device.In the Alexa app add a new switch, scroll to the Smart Life device and search, once it is found register with Alexa and then link the Smart Life app to Amazon.This was up and running in 10 minutes, I can now turn on the light with a switch or with Alexa, it will make the 4am trip to the toilet safer and a lit quieter for the family as we do not need to switch on the main light with the noisy fan.For the record I have not used the remote fob, I cannot see a need for it with my setup.For around £20.00 this is a bargain
Great in-line smart switch
I used this to go between a wall light switch and an outdoor light.You will need an electrician to safely connect this to your existing wiring if you are not comfortable doing so yourself in a safe manner.The set up is easy and straightforward. Pretty much the same set up for all these smart devices.Once connected to my TUYA app, I was then able to discover it with Alexa, and then able to use it in my Alexa routines. Specifically in this case, I wanted to use the motion sensor on my ring doorbell to turn on a new outdoor wall light that didn’t have a PIR.Worked really well, and the addition of the remote keyring and rocker switch were a bonus for me.Definitely recommend this smart switch.
Easy to install and great functionality
I’ve only just installed this so I can’t comment on longevity, but it was really easy to install and setup and the functionality is great. The RF signal goes through two walls about 20 meters apart to the garage. I’ve knocked one star off because the rocker switch occasionally misses a click and I can’t see why. The keyfob is completely reliable.

Great to be able to add a WiFi switch in a place without mains cabling and be able to automate something. Mine is used to switch over stove cabinet LED lighting.
Fragile so care required, but then stopped working after about four months
Great little unit (while it worked), easy to set up, fragile connections so be careful wiring up. But unit only clicked with remote operated and stopped working after about 4 months

Didn’t work for long
Installation was easy enough, and the remote clicker switch is a nice feature.Worked fine for 2 months, and now has completely failed. even after completely reinstalling the module, it no longer functions and I now need to buy an alternative!
Does the job
Good product but there are a couple of things that I have to mention. The transmitter will not fit in a standard 1 gang UK 25 mm patress box for light switch so a bigger box is required. The terminals on the transmitter unit itself are very close together so care is needed when using stranded wire. The English instructions are not the clearest but despite that, I managed to connect the device to the WiFi and Alexa. However, I then found that the fob switch and wall mounted switch would no longer work which entailed further study of the instructions until I found the solution. In summary, I think these devices are good value but not easy to install. I actually bought two. Fitting the second one will be more straightforward, I hope.
