The best thing is the quality craftsmanship of this planner. It’s sturdy, the paper is good quality and the printing is attractive. (I don’t know why this is labeled as “for men.”) It’s helping me keep the habit because you only have 2 small pages to write and that makes the task easier to complete everyday. Just what I was looking for. A simple yet comprehensive daily journal that is helpful with daily life. The book is well-made and has a nice texture to it.
This for the person that likes the idea of “journaling” but isn’t interested in long winded and complicated prompts. This journal is very structured with the same 4 questions every day. It is focused on small goals and accountability. Each day is broken up in to 5 sections:**Day**1: three goals2: a positive affirmation (mantra/ motivation/whatever you choose)3: Three things I’m grateful for**Night**4: What went well today5: What can I improve uponAnd then it has a daily writing prompt, such as “ WHAT NEEDS TO CHANGE IN ORDER TO BE YOUR BEST SELF?”As well as a free writing/doodling area.I especially like the night portion, which is an important daily activity everyone should do. A well know Navy Seal motivational guy calls it an “AAR — After Action Report” where you conduct a post mortem on your days objectives and determine what went wrong, well, and how to avoid same issues. All the writing spaces are 3 lines and appear to be intended to keep it brief, so no overwhelming novel needed. Just simple thoughts.Overall, I have found this to be a useful tool on a short 13-week challenge. In the beginning, you set some goals and why they are important. Then you sign your 13-week contract. Less than 5 minutes a day is all it takes.Good luck! I’m sure there will be another copy after I complete this one. There are many goals I wish to achieve. Breaking them up in to manageable 3 goal sessions is great for people like me.
