Good Little Toolkit – Misleading Product Description!
Good little all-round/cycling tool kit and very well made. Makes an excellent addition to my Wera collection!However the listing on Amazon needs to be updated. The product description says 10 pieces, some sections reference 12 pieces and the product details say 14 pieces. I managed to get this in January 2022 on an Amazon Warehouse deal, with a bit of a discount. After reading the many reviews with people saying that the tyre leavers were not included, I was expecting not to get them as part of the set. On opening the package it was a bonus to see that the set has been updated and they are now included! Currently it is an extra £12 on Amazon to buy them separately!Once you add up the individual costs of the Wera ratchet, Wera tyre leavers, Wera extension bar and Wera bits. The set is really good value for money (in the Wera world). Yes compared to other alternative makes it is expensive, but you do get what you pay for!I’ve attached some pictures to show what the new packaging and set looks like.
Fantastic tool, best ratchet and bits, case is a bit bulky and tight.
Great quality tools. Ratchet is great and the hex bits hold very well under torque. The case is well made, but the bit holders are quite stiff and the overall pouch is rather large, lots of wasted space. If the case was fixed I would rate 5 stars.
Just what I was looking for
Box says 12 piece but shows a + then an image of the tyre levers. Nice to get but I don’t need them and won’t use them. The rest is a nice piece of kit. I wanted something that covers most of the hex and Torx bolts on a bike with a ratchet and interchangeable heads. this is not the cheapest option, try Topeak for a more affordable option but I love Wera stuff. Nice case and not that heavy. Amazon is not the cheapest but next-day delivery. Who can wait for stuff like this!

Fantastic piece of kit, as a professional cycle mechanic who has used mainly used park tools over a 25 year span I find the quality and usefulness of this amazing little tool second to none. I’m now switching to wera allen/hex keys

Simply one of the best sets of bicycle specific T handle hex and torx drivers there is out there. Many bike shops and pros have this exact set for a reason. Well made, comfortable handles, long drivers make these easy to use. The size of the driver is accurate to the bolt openings. Unlike many cheap hex keys out there, these Wera’s WON’T round out the bolts.Most of the hex drivers have spring tension bearings at the end to allow holding the bolt when starting the thread. Very nice. The steel stand make frequent use easy and is durable.Why not 5 star? Price. it is expensive. Don’t recommend for casual riders. Does not replace complete sets of Hex or Torx sets. Sizes are very specific to what is most commonly used in bicycle industry.
Great for those hard to reach places or carry with you easily. Managed to get it on sale for a really low price.
This set is well made, compact and contains just enough basic tools to be useful on the road. Also it can form the basis for a solid EDC kit if you keep the tire levers at home.
I got it on sale so it was a good way to get the bits, ratchet and extender. What you get is a good selection of tools to build your own tool kit.I got shocked when I picked up the package and felt the weight…the case is way too heavy and bulky, (it wont even fit in my frame bag) I would prefer a minimalist pouch like Chapman’s and no tire levers.I had one of those plastic bit holders, so I was able to repack everything but the tire levers into surprisingly small pocket slip.I think the mini ratchet is the way to go, much better than a folding multi tool and smaller than a selection of L keys, and Wera makes a great mini ratchet
