I think it’s a little sketchy. It’s been in there for several weeks now my device hasn’t fallen out thank God I do wish that it was built just a little bit more secure for the clips, but I use silicone around the edge and it works perfect.
I did not install this as intended, I had a place on my fireplace cabinet where I wanted it installed. Even though I did not install this in the wall this bracket is very sturdy and holds my Max in place very well.I drilled 2 holes at the top of the bracket and used rubber spacers and screws to attach to my cabinet. I used a few peices of double sided tape to secure the bottom of the bracket to the cabinet.I also painted the bracket with satin black paint meant for plastics which turned out great.Speaker sounds like it may be a little louder and a little more pronounced bass. So that’s pretty awesome as the unit doesn’t need to be turned up as high.I would give this 4.5 stars, not taking anything away from the product itself. I just think the price is a tad bit too high.
Have 2 of these , looks good and makes the speaker sound better.
