Of late, E-learning has gained traction in most high institutions. This researchers carried out an investigation in the challenges hindering the adoption of disruptive e-learning tools in Ugandan universities. Ultimately, the research aimed at developing a disruptive technology e-learning adoption model (DiTEAM). In developing the DiTEAM, the researchers based on the existing Makerere University Business School E-learning Platform (MUBSEP). In this case the unused or non-utilized disruptive e-learning tools within the MUBSEP were considered as key tools that can enhance the use of disruptive e-learning tools for academic purposes. These tools included; DailyMotion, QuiaWeb, Gamification and Wiki tool. The DiTEAM was designed basing on the UTAUT model of Venkatesh et al (2003) to develop a customized local DiTEAM in a context of Ugandan Universities.
