I was hesitant to buy this one because some online reviews said it doesn’t quite fit the AM5 9000 series CPUs. But make no mistake — it fits my 9950X perfectly.

I was having vram issues and thought that maybe it could be a CPU Issue so I got this to make sure even pressure was distributed around the chip the red dram light has turned off since installing the contact frame it was very easy to install following the steps of leaving the CPU in place unscrewing the 4 screws and then dropping in the contact frame no difference in cooling but it seem to make the dram issue go away for now will update later if issue returns but in anycase it would not be the contact frames fault so I would recommend this to anyone looking to secure there then 7000 series CPU it fit perfectly on my 7600x the price was incredible for what was received and it looks great to bad the cooling fan covers it up.
Fits perfectly on my AM5 setup with a Gigabyte Aorus X870 Mobo, and Ryzen 7 7700. It also made thermal paste application much easier and cleaner. I really like how it cleans up the appearance of the system, looking much nicer than the OE retention bracket. I haven’t noticed any difference in temps vs. the old retention bracket, but overall this is very high quality and worth every penny.
