Very true!!
This is my Dad to a tee so I love it! The card is also UK made and recyclable which ticked the boxes too, as did the sweet love you Dad message inside. The current price tag of £3.99 felt a little on the steep side for the size of card as its quite basic and simple really, hence I removed a star. Aside from the price it’s great!
Perfect for my dad
My dad doesn’t drink, do any sport, DIY or go fishing – and that means I often find it quite hard to find appropriate cards for birthdays and Fathers’ Day. When I saw this however, I laughed out loud as it is just perfect! Even the chair the man is sat in looks like dad’s and although generic, the illustration is rather indicative of what dad looks like when sat in his chair in front of the TV. This company seems to have a knack for creating funny, but not offensive cards and I really like the humour they convey. The card itself is a reasonable size (145mm x 145mm) and made from good quality card – so it will stand proudly on the mantlepiece without falling over. The greeting inside is generic enough to be suitable for any occasion you need a card for dad and at under £4 this is comparable in price to the high street. I shall be buying more of these cards indeed!
Funny card, good quality
My dad recently moved out of state and as an adult child I’m having a really difficult time with it. I have gotten into the habit of sending my dad little cards and other miscellaneous items back-and-forth to help keep the communication and remind him of home. I came across this card and I had to have it! As a child, my dad was very frugal and it had to be an emergency to turn on the air in the summer or the heat in the winter. As adults now, my sisters and I constantly joke with him about it. This card will be perfect way to give him a good laugh and send him some fond memories from home. As you could see in the picture of the card is printed nicely. The colors are nice and vibrant and there are no errors or other issues with the card’s condition.
